Voldo is definately viable one of the more strongest mid tier characters.

Just give it time.

Voldo is crazy good...you should be dominating kids online, because nobody plays Voldo, lol. Watch some Enkindu, and some BEENIEWEENIES, if you've got to see how it's done at a top level.

Voldo definitely isn't a character that would hold you back.

Best of luck with this. I mained Voldo in 2, and have been looking at getting back into him.

I know VILARCANE plays a Voldo that's not too strong, but still interesting, so it's good practice for learning some of his more basic set-ups and combos.

Best of luck though, more Voldo's are welcome by my book.

I know I sound like I complain all the time - I know I need to be patient with building this character. It just seems like he can't compete with characters like Maxi and Natsu. I watched Beenieweenies play Kayane and he was impressive. I just wish Voldo wasn't so slow - you can see alot of his stuff coming a mile off.

Nah, the early stages are tough, anything remotely complaint-like is fine. It's when people start whining about other characters being OP that it get's annoying.

But I feel you. Working hard for your wins (Damp main) when others can press two buttons is aggravating, but it makes that victory so much sweeter.

I find the slower 'strong' characters quite manageable like Asta, NM, Sieg and Mitsu..... it's specifically Natsu, both Pats, both Pyrrahs and Maxi I struggle with. Pressure relief is key....

Bad Match-ups are bad. There nothing in Voldo's SA to help deal with them?

Just because I struggle doesn't make it a bad MU but it feels rather hopeless. He has a few setups to get him on + and keep pressure but they're all snail's pace :(

Yeah, it feels like Voldo is getting slower and slower each game, which would make sense but isn't so great.

Keep it up though, there's a way around it somewhere.

Dont have to be fast if you can trick them.
