I've been so bored here my iagA has become twice as consistent. I'm still not where I want it to be though. I get it roughly 85% of the time when I'm having a good day.
My buttons are really small and "clicky". I can easily do 1F slides. My main problem is hitting the second A after my slide. I use the L1/LB button for my second A.
Well i am kind of unconventional since i use R1 (pretty much everyone uses either L1/LB or L2/LT).
To be honest, i had my fair share of doubts of changing my button config but in the end i was doing pretty well with it and i actually do believe, that doing it all with one hand helps my consistency. In terms of muscle memory my brain only needs to remember one fluid motion for my right hand.
how? my hand motion looks like i would pick something up with my thumb and index finger. I dont think having bigger fingers would make that impossible :P
Maybe it's because 360 controllers are bigger than PS3 ones. I don't have a standard 360 controller but it's still bigger than a PS3 controller. Who knows.
I personally don't have a console preference. Only reason I like 3rd party 360 controllers better is because I like reverse analog layout controllers and the triggers feel better.
I always found the sony original pads to be the best. The layout is pretty flawless - funny thing at the beginning of the PS3 development they actually had a different design planned, which was so frowned upon by everyone that they just went back to the old design lol
I would love the PS3 controller if there was a reverse analog layout option. Everything else is just fine minus the triggers, but that's just nitpicking. The size is perfect.
they kind of copied the xbox controller with the triggers - the ps2 pad had 4 shoulder buttons. you could try the MLG pad, you can pretty much costumize it with the parts you like most. Its pricey though
Every time I use the D pad I get 6B instead of 3B. That could be because the directional zones are different between the controllers of the two systems but still I find the analog a bit more reliable. Don't get me started on the 360 d-pad though. That thing is junk.
