I thought PSO2 was already out... you can certainly get on already using an english patch, i know that.
Either way, PSO2 is nothing like PSU. The characters look awful, like they did in PSO, and well... nothing else major, but its not PSU :/
I dont get the Cowboy Bebop song... what are you trying to say?
I was expecting ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXDZgcnhqSQ ) (which isnt worthy of best VGM, but god, its the only one that came up on Youtube.)
That was sad music? >.>
I've even re-listened... its far cheerier than the majority of my actual music collection. Its actually fairly Christmas-y listening to it again.
Sounds like intro music... Children running/playing, as our hero walks slowly to his destination. Snow. Evening.
The areas look great, but the characters look awful and there's far less customization options now that the only options are 1-pieces. PSUs clothing was both futuristic and casual, now it's back to horrible over-detailed spacesuits again.
Having 3-piece outfits, and eventually plenty of different clothes to combine. I've spent hours shopping around for each character to develop their 25 or so outfits, and in turn separating my character from others and giving them personality and definition. Now, whatever choice you make somebody will look exactly the same, and you've had next to no input. It completely removes that aspect of the game.
Also, I miss having lots of lobbies. Initially, discovering the more interesting lobbies was fun, and doing long chains of runs, going on a journey, was fun. If you want privacy, there's somewhere to go. All gone.
Missions do look a bit better now, but...
And finally, the biggest flaw, its not on consoles. MMOs are far more social, for me at least, and far less uncomfortable, because I'm not sat at a desk, than on the PC.
