Guess what I just did, dood? I finally got the Final Guard soul I wanted, which was the last one I needed. Then I went and synthesized it with my axe with it to get a golden axe, which I then synthesized with Death's soul to get Death's Scythe. I went and got another Final Guard soul within five minutes thanks to the scythe, saved... and found out that I needed to have all the souls when you go to get the ring of chaos...

Edit: On the plus side, the teddy bear and nunchucks I got from boss rush are awesome.
