I first started playing tournament Soul Calibur back in 2008, right at SC4's launch. There was a forum before this one called caliburforum. And there, before I even had input or was even known to the community, was a breakdown of SC3 AE Mi-na. It was mostly negative and didn't praise many of the changes made to her from the console version of SC3, which IMO, was strong.

What I see in this video is some of those unfortunate changes - most notably 66A not giving a stun on CH. It would appear that this and other things carried over to the schlop that was her SC4 version.

But still, that version is the one that I'm most familiar with and I would take it back any day over not having her at all. I don't know if you've seen footage of my SC5 Pyrrha, but it doesn't take a brain surgeon to see just how confused and silly I look when using her.

I just try to copy what Ramon does and it doesn't always pan out too well for me. I'd rather be playing like myself - but to do that I need Mi-na just as much as she needs me.

JRWR7 and Sporko went through the same thing I did; JR didn't like SC without Amy and Sporko didn't like Voldo in the new system. I hang around and play still, but I do it because of the community ties - not for this game. -20 backstep my fucking ass, man.

Yikes. She's that bad in SCIIIAE?

Let me put it this way. All the broken/absurd stuff in SC3 console she had was toned down. If I remember correctly:

- No more free 3B when 1/3A+B AT broken
- 6K shitty GI window
- 66A no longer stuns on CH
- 3A doesn't KD (?)
