(pardon me if this was posted already)
After realizing Ω moves I hate are verticals, I tried sidestepping a lot more. Really helped. 2B+K and 4B+K seem to help a bit as well. I guess my Sieg has been too stationary up to this point.
..wow after 11 hours of evo SC watching yesterday, Im still a bit in shock regarding:
-the extreme skill level (pools and top 8)
-the asian dominance
-the depth of this game (people still finding new ways to dominate)
Lying in my hammock, there were several very near fall-out moments. The hours...
Wow.. Japan! Didnt expect that.. This will be a nice boost for the J-SC-community! Probably best thing that could have happened for the future of Soul Calibur.
Thanks for valid comments. Agree 6A is solid all around, and 4(A) SRSH is unreliable at best. I could be imagining things (please let me know), but I feel 4A has some sort of stab-like property or dodge property, that it can interrupt certain attack strings that 6A can not. Thats pretty much...
Nice breakdown! Ah the anti 1A move from SCIV online. I still do it on auto sometimes when smells like low attack coming. (Not sure if still equally effective though.)
How would you rate it compared to his other jump/TJ moves?
Weird thing I noticed.. sometimes after 33B(CH)~SCH A,SSH AA.. I find there is a time window where I can 8WR but not attack.(at least 3B will come out as just 33) I think it happens esp. if I hit the opponent upon landing, but not entirely sure. Anyone else notice similar?
Also, after some...
I think what we got is in the upper range of what we realistically could have hoped for. And regardless, it is what it is, so time to shift focus towards what works instead of what doesn't.
(We really should have a thread about adaptations to the wiff-risk of certain moves. 33B seems solid to...
Thank you very much! Superb analysis!
I've been testing 22Ka2A3B with good results so far, but I think you are dead on about being selective about when to use.
I seem to often end up at a weird angle after 22K(A), making SCH A the only way to avoid risk of whiffing. Anyone else notice?
I worry. The first week, every new player played 'cool icy dude from promo'. But they all switched, leaving mostly decent or better Sieg-players online, ime. I worry Sieg win% online is rather high.. swaying Namco away from boosting him.
Getting all titles is easy.
1 change search prefs to put new players first
2 set a player level
3 hit triangle until you get unbeaten char
4 When finished with all, go to next player level in prefs.
