What killed it for me was how half-assed and arbitrary the skip seemed. They just didn't commit to it, a third of the cast stayed exactly the same with one flimsy excuse or another ("stopped ageing", huh, Ivy?) while others disappeared completely. And neither of these quibbles are as offensive...

I'm with you, Forsaken Sanctuary is killer. The part where it cuts to the victor turning around to face the PC syncs so well with the music.

I don't mind Inferno at all: his design is neat, he probably took very little dev time to translate into a playable character, and O N E mimic is fine by me. It's a nice little nod to him having been playable way back when too, which is nice.

Raph looks lovely in action. Still over the moon that he made base. The DLC thing is troubling though. I mean, Hwang, sure. A legacy character we haven't seen in a while, with a fully unique and historically accessible move set? I'd happily pay for that. But Lizardman, really? Who the hell...

This is absolutely what I wanted to see. Leaks happen -- own it, laugh it off, engage the community with a bit of self-deprecation. That's better PR than enforcing radio silence. Anyway, fucking hell Cerv looks amazing in this game.
