That's a legit strategy. But then again, unless you're playing tournies or such, ranked players usually aren't smart to fall for it only once. The stun is key here, usually after I use 8B+K, I go into crawl and throw in a B+K, the way I see it, people usually expect to have a low thrown at them...
I would probably remove Talim. Such a scrub of a character altogether. IMO, crappy plot relevance, and god awful ending. That and I tire of hearing "Wind!" every time she jumps.
Algol's bubblebeam is terrible as well.
Well, after a few hours of soul searching (lols), It seems I found a character that I have been comfortable with and have fun with, not to mention he has some of the funniest victory stances and taunts. Looks like my 3rd is Lizardman. Thanks for the help everyone, it really did pay off.
I don't think Nightmare or Astaroth have the quick strikes I'm looking for. I wanna drop Nightmare anyhow because I'm just dreading him and I'm not using him to my potential. Astaroth I think is a pretty predictable character anyhow. I'm having a really good experience using Setsuka, she's fast...
Both valid suggestions. I used to play Vader before I picked up Nightmare, but evidently according to my friend Aaron he said he was "Banned in tournies" which I didn't believe. I may pick him up again, but Setsuka is a good pick too, she's fast, and she hits hard. Her range is a little less of...
Good Raphs are hard to come by in regular matchmaking, but I've seen a lot of great Raphs since I've been on 8WR. Your garden variety Raph principally just spams (I believe this is the right combo) 1YY (named it Poke Poke) with a few step-ins for good measure. But a good Raph is a pretty good...
I'm pretty sure Namco-Bandai is done with SCIV along the lines of PS3/X360, I guess the costume DLC was their way of saying "Revise this". And, along the lines of Broken Destiny, I sold my PSP :(

No lie, I doubt...
I'll agree with every word of that. Like I said in the "Favorite character" thread, "Cassandra is the blonde popular high school bitch of Soul Calibur".
Oh no, don't get me wrong, its easily GIed, but that being the case, everyone still gets those Asties that still try, which is more annoying than actually succeeding with it.

I can't seem to continue offline...
In all honesty I only know one glitch, that being in offline on the 60th floor of the TLS, if you are downed and roll onto the edge of the ring, Algol will jump over you. (This doesn't work all the time, works about 98% of the time if you don't attack him at all. If you attack him, he can...
Mitsu's main focus is offense. Playing Mitsu defensively can end badly if you don't throw in a few attacks every once in a while. Mitsu is a very quick character with great sweeps and an above-average mixup. His unblockables and simultaneous-presses can give good damage and throw your opponents...
Most Amys that i've played as Mitsu were easily beaten via sidestep. The thing you have to remember about Amy, like Raph, has a great use of Step-ins. Considering several of these have a decent range, when playing a character like Rugi, one has to keep mind of their space and their movements...
I was thinking about dropping Nightmare as my third character because I can't seem to get where I want with him on a skill level. Judging from the fact that I like fast, dynamic, and somewhat confusing characters, what would be a good consideration for a new third character?
