why the stealth?

It's quite simple, actually: 1.- No Hwang. 2.- No Li Long. 3.- No Rock ( Nor Bangoo , for that matter.). Plus, the addition of popular characters from later editions makes the current timeline sort of a mess only previously seen in JJ. Abrams' Star Trek.

Now if you reinvented that image of Hwang holding blushing Mi-Na....

I would redefine and vastly improve Li Long's dual nunchuck wielding capabilities as seen in SC3. It would be awesome to see 2 entirely different approaches to nunchucks.

Hwang's kata was the absolute best in SC1

People are of course entitled to say whatever they feel like but the truth is that not releasing Hwang in a reboot of the series is a crime. From being the Ryu of Street Fighter, the Akira of Virtua Fighter in the series, he was unfairly mistreated by turning him into a cheap assasin in 2 and...

Developers should stop experimenting with SC. If they want to do that, try creating a new franchise. I bet none of them dare to touch Tekken in any way. Keep the old players, bring on the new, give us a huge roster a lá Tekken and let's roll.

I don't know what to do to beg for Hwang to return. It seems everyone and their grannies just ditch him to Li-Long's long forgotten backyard for good. Incredibly sad for me, as all the love I got from SC on Dreamcast came through his moves. A reboot would be so much welcome.

Personally, I have oficially abandoned this franchise, as NAMCO has dumped my favorite characters not once, but twice; ergo, I do not feel compelled to make this purchase at all. Surely, I might be curious once its price drops below 20 bucks, but, after ditching Kwang, then Yung and even Seoung...

Hwang never returned as a full-fledged character after SC1. He was and always will be my favorite. You're so missed, my friend.

I's great to see ppl happy because of their favorite characters appeareance in the new game. As for those of us with an ill-fated character dissapointment , I can only hope to at least have their fighting style active to be used in character creation. =/

well... this is a killing of fan favorites as never seen before. Looks like SF3 all over again... hopefully we might get a SC5: 3rd strike of sorts.

Well.. I just hope to see Hwang wearing a gray hair ponytail and scaring the heck out of Yun with his wisdom and savvy.

In relation to the above comment, I would like to add that Inferno should be the one waiting at the top of the Tower Mode.

Hwang, please, for the love of God, Hwang!!!!! This has to be a first when an original favorite character in a fighting game is ditched in favor of a newcomer like Jun!!!!
