new building has more square footage, but less games. more space devoted to attraction type stuff like paintball and lasertag. the building is nice, but it's a shift away from the demographic who likes playing actual games...

you'd have to talk to the managers if you wanted to ask about cabs that are available. I know there were some at the old building, but I'm not so sure about the new one.

Regarding the NerdTron tournaments, here are a few things to keep in mind. They usually talk pretty big, but fail to deliver on a lot of their tournaments. If you want a SC5 tournament at a NerdTron event, make sure you are totally self-sufficient in terms of screens, systems, and everything...

When are casuals on Wednesday nights? I might come out to these last few before the semester ends...and I want some real practice. Online SC5 is just silly. Last few nights I've gone like 50 - 2, other times I'll get into high level lobbies and get destroyed. So inconsistent.

Oh yeah, and where the hell was everyone else? Lincoln and Omaha players need to get their asses up here for these tournaments. I'm looking at you, Nate (and Josh, and those 3 other kids who were at the first tournament and not this one).

Foz did really well. I was extremely salty walking out of there after losing to him in the first set. He will play my mains from now on I guess, and I won't get to have as much fun. How much did everyone end up winning? Did prizes still pay out 70/20/10?

it's going to be tough to play most characters without using moves that are -14, but i know what you're getting at. i was really surprised that you didn't 4BA every time you blocked my AS B, but now we know I guess. I'll admit, I still think you're a better player than I am. I enjoyed our sets.

One mixup you might try for MST... 3B, 236B(BE), 66MST, followed by whatever. costs meter, but leaves you close enough and at enough advantage to set up whatever you want (MST throws, K~B, BBB, A). Been getting mixed results with it though.
