OK, the first week was awesome, the second week was mediocre; we need more of our regulars to commit. Some of you guys B$'d me by saying you'd come and then had some excuse or no excuse or didn't even call or post...*cough cough* BUBBA!!! Ya gotta make the tourneys so you can earn more points in order to win that PS3 or XBox360.

Sign-up from 5:00-6:00pm
Entry Fee $3.00 ($10.00 for those who still have not yet paid to join our SC league)
Venue Fee $2.00($5.00 or $12.00 total)
Console: PS3
Banned Characters: Darth Vader and all the bonus characters.
Payout:50-30-10(10% automatically goes to our prize pot for our grand prize)
Tourney Rules:
-Standard Double Elimination Bracket(you lose 2 matches and you're out)
-One match is the best 2/3 fights 3/5 rounds each fight.
-No Vader or bonus characters as mentioned
-Bring your own PS3 controller as they will not be provided.
-If you pause the game by accident, you automatically forfeit that round, unless the opponent wishes to continue the round.
-If you pause and then press select, you automatically lose that fight.
-Only the loser of the fight gets to change characters, if desired. The winner of the first fight will not be allowed to switch. If the winner were to lose the next fight, then he/she would be allowed to change characters in the final fight.
-Default time
***ALSO, ...NO DRUGS, NO ALCOHOL, NO SMOKING, NO SEX in the venue. You will be Disqualified, if you are caught doing any one of those 4 items in the venue location...
OK, so we are going to be having 20 weekly tournaments. And there is going to be ranking points involved. Whoever ranks the highest among the SCIV players, will win a PS3 or XBox360 of their choice. In order to be eligible to try to win the XBox360 or PS3, you have pay the $10.00 entry fee. The remaining tourneys will be just a $3.00 entry fee. We will need to raise alot of money, but it is very possible.
That is why all the entry fees for this tournament will be used for the grand prize of the XBox360 and/or PS3. The remaining 19 tournaments, the prize pot will be distributed:
1st 50%
2nd 30%
3rd 10%
and 10% will automatically go toward our PS3 and Xbox360 prize at the end of the 20 wks
*for the future tourneys, should someone decide to pay the $10 fee to take a crack at the PS3/360 prize, that will go toward the actual PS3/360 prize, not the prize pot.
The tentative schedule for the tourneys are: 8/9/08, 8/16, 8/23, 9/6(skipped a wk due to Labor Day Wkend), 9/13, 9/20, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22 or 29(depending on Thxgiving), 12/6, 12/13, 12/20, Merry X-mas and New Yr Break, 1/10/09, 1/24/09, 1/31/09, 02/07/09 REGIONALS..., 02/21/09(END of 20 wk tournament, prize distribution)
