A tale of souls and swords, eternally retold (SC6 edition)

Thanks to HappyColour, i made a friend names Keroken (#1 ranked asta player), he grew especially fond of my ASTAROCK (and Nefertiti, but for different reasons :) and i even did some clips to allow him to recreate ASTAROCK.
Let me just share this clip he made for me using ASTAROCK, i found it quite entertaining and full of skills, even if he told me he kinda f***ed up a few times (which i didn't notice XD)

Enjoy :

He has got a few other clips with Nefertiti & Uruk-hai, also on xboxclips.com/keroken.

First off, a couple of bonus pics / collage for the weirdest of my latest CAS, also some ref pic (BLACKMANTA's MASK) for HK to improve upon his skitarii W40K RCAS (hopefully :) :

XENOMORPHSSSSS :)

For Lil Vil (well, he fell in love with the goblin instead, so i ended up deleting this villain :)

The Spider's Fang (a CAS short story)

A ghastly figure, barely noticeable in the foggy dark alley smog of Levandiir ; Aarzaak the golbin was but a pair of glowing red eyes honing in on his target.
The fat and loud zyrkonian merchant he was trailing was unaware, rubbing the dust off his fancy attire and fondling with at least four heavy coin purses and dangling jewelry to match.
Two half-drunk dwarves were posing as bodyguards on each side of their wealthy protector, pathetic excuse of an escort for a trained assassin from the caves of Dorgesh-Kaan.

Drawing his long sword from the orc-hide scabbard, Aarzaak leaped from the rooftop, lunging at its victim like a basilisk.
The full weight of the blow split the stronger dwarf's shoulder in two, cutting like butter through the chink in the padded leather pauldron.
He moaned and crumpled, blood gushing upwards like a geyser, splashing thick warm ooze all over the awe-stricken merch.

The second dwarf was quick to recover from the surprise attack, shouting some gibberish dwarven nonsense while charging head-on.
Aarzaak strafed effortlessly and tripped his opponent in disdain, avoiding the deadly spiked helmet and sturdy battle axe.

The hepless flesh and mead barrel crashed into the nearby cart in a loud thud, and was swiftly disposed of by a throwing poison dagger in the back of the neck. "Backstabbing bastard" were the dwarf's last words, wallowing and foaming at the mouth, short before he joined Valkauna, or any other deity of his own choosing.

Begging for his life, the merchant misinterpreted the smirk on the greenish leathery face and made a desperate attempt at haggling his way out of the predicament. A glimmer of hope which soon faded as he dropped like a sack of grain, his head severed from his spine, bouncing wildly down the street...

"Just a bad roll my friend", Aarzaak giggled to himself.

He was about to loot the not so poor fellow when his guts put him on high alert.
Too late! his steamy entrails taught him the hard way, as he watched them spill over the muddy pavement, throbbing like a bunch of headless snakes.

His hands cramped around the thin serrated blade who'd pierced right through him.

He then heard the familiar voice of the female dark elf he'd raped, robbed and left for dead a fortnite ago

As she twisted and turned Fang inside him, Aarzaak started squealing like a stuck pig, begging for a swift death.

She pulled his ugly left ear closer and whispered softly :

Guess that's a drow then...

Drow are one of my favorite fantasy races and i love your design it truly is Drowesome. Undertaker is also an interesting design I like the way you incorporated the vulture theme into there personality. I also enjoy the little puns you work into your quotes and descriptions.

Thank you kindly Wyld.

I hope you liked the intro short story as well, it's my own personal take on a background story, since i used to write heroic fantasy and sci-fi short stories in english and french a couple of years back. This one is really short i know :)

Designing a drow was also the first time i used the lost village race preset.
Now the only presets i have left untouched are...the mummy and the bunny.

PS : i think i'll remove the wooden pattern on the curved part of the x-bow and leave it black metal look instead, and a fourth ExEq for the string would have been great XD

I did like your short story it set the tone for the character as well as set up a reason to fight ARzaAkK (who i also like) in the screenshots. The crossbow was a nice touch as well. I honestly meant to mention both the story and crossbow in my first post but I was having a hard time articulating my thoughts and ended up forgetting. I think we need at least five slots for ExEq to get the most out of it and I agree it would have benefited the crossbow.

Thanks again, your comments do inspire and bewylder :)

Drowesome ist terrific. Wonderful colour palette and styling, quite the match for the goblin guy. Just a nuance of suggestion, though: I think Drowesome would have benefited from and flourished even more using the holy SC weapon glow and Amy's white rose CE :) Keep it up, dude!

Guten tag mein herzlich freund :D! My thousand year apologies for not being able to post a proper review for your latest CASs as they damn sure deserve one from me :). I also try to answer to your quiz questions along the way considering your Arzaakk. Without any further pep talk, let´s get this rather extensive review underway, oder was ;)?

Starting with Arzaakk, absolutely wonderfull work with our most ugly ( yet cool looking ) goblin warlock :D! The choice of race ( well coloured darksider) is most fitting and fits really well as the base of a goblin, giving him that distinctiv difference to usually used malefic race for orcs, not to mention it makes him much slender, fitting to his goblin essence. The ammount of details you have added to his skin gives him even more depth: the destruction of clothing through combat reveals scarred body with a fitting explanation as to their origins. The real deal however is the way you utilized the ExEqs: using Voldo horns and use of colouring and angling of the cat ears really make him look one unique goblin. And your reasoning for utilizing them sounds also solid. (Answer to question n.3) I would say you utilized the cat ears ExEq and streched it so that the ears would clip properly with the hood and make it look like you managed to make earholes to the hood and that they are his natural ears, his real ears hidden under the hood.
(Answer to question n.1) I think you used appropriately coloured, sized and angled animal pattern number 8 on the joint points of his arms and which can be seen under the armor ( final picture of him ). As for the rugged naked skin look, half moon like scars and straighter scars. ( his scar showing screenshot )

The choices for his equipments are also very solid looking, hood giving him that mysterious and mean looking vibe, fitting to his trecherous personality and usage of dark arts. Nice to know you found an approriate way to utilize Siegfrieds armor, which has caused you problems, at least from what I have read XD. Azwels truth seeker belt is a very proper choice with its multiple details ( like poison vials and spell book like you explained ) fitting to his goblin dark arts origins.

Your colouring of him has its very high ups and also some small downs ( shocking isn´t it for me to have something to critize you of XD? ). The patterning on the hood and upper cape is spot on with its colouring: looks simple, nice to look at and can be detected just and just :). The eyecathing factor upon closer inspection is the Siegfried armors rock like look, (answer to question n.2 ) which I belief you achieved with the proper angling and sizing of the animal pattern number 6, coloured grey like rock usually is. For me however the golden parts like eagles look a bit too shiny and unfitting to his dark goblin theme. Sure they give the equipment piece highlighting, but with also the Silver parts kinda jump out of the colour theme a bit too much, at least from my own opinion. While the patterning and colouring of the front part of thruthseekers belt works well in harmony with the patterning of the hood and cape, I don´t notice much of change colourwise with the other pieces of the belt. Maybe some more noticable colouring options for them?

Geralt stylewise he looks like being right on his element with Geralt styles numerous magic attacks, poses, magical looking text appearing on the swords blade upon the activation of critical edge, swordsmanship and poison like looking after swing ( screenshot about his power of Khurgorbaeyag, creative name By the way, sounds so goblish and funny XD ). Of course the look of the weapons themselves fit to his theme as well ;).

Overall, most wunderbar work with Arzaakk :D! I will write reviews for your other latest CASs later, for now I must have some sleep and rest as it´s literally Morning here By the time I finished this review XD. Hope you like the review and hopefully I got at least some answers right considering your quiz on the assassin goblin ;).

That was a bit of a joke question tbh, but your answer is correct mein Freund ! My son asked me if there were hoods with ear holes in the game haha, well not really, no, still looks good enough :)

Well i am not sure but i think you are slightly mistaken here : the scars on the skin are not added, they come with the race preset, but the rugged naked skin look when the armor is on (chest part) is a scale pattern enlarged to max and angled and colored using same skin color.

The eyecathing factor upon closer inspection is the Siegfried armors rock like look, (answer to question n.2 ) which I belief you achieved with the proper angling and sizing of the animal pattern number 6, coloured grey like rock usually is.
Correct, igneous rock to be precise, or dried lava, dark grey

Funny you mentioned, i was about to change eagles color but (like the fauld's gadgets you mention), they cannot be recolored. Another oversight from PS :(

hahaha, i am imaginative all right, but here i did some research : google "Khurgorbaeyag goblinoid deity" and see what comes up :)

Overall, most wunderbar work with Arzaakk :D! I will write reviews for your other latest CASs later, for now I must have some sleep and rest as it´s literally Morning here By the time I finished this review XD.

I thoroughly enjoyed this extensive review very much, besides slight approximations on the quiz bits and minor things you overlooked like mentioning the red eyes or the short backstory (sob :), the rest is totally spot-on, very pleasant to read, and believe me, i know (from writing this much shorter reply and the review i posted in YOUR thread :) how much time and effort it takes to build such a review from the ground up.

So i am humbled by the praise and will not send Aarzaak after you for the few inaccuracies here and here. Therefore I grant you a 9/10 for this amazing HK testbericht !

Too bad you aren't on xbox and i cannot share some CAS with you or have a nice CAS-ual showoff session between CASficionados XD

Then i figured, hey, she is from the spider clan, so why not reveal the clan leader and queen of spiderlings she plots to overthrow ?

The inevitable confrontation took place in the spider's lair, who will prevail and rule over the clan :

Ahaa, so it was kind of a courtesy of your sons curiosity then :). Nice indepth touch I would say ;).

Well i am not sure but i think you are slightly mistaken here : the scars on the skin are not added, they come with the race preset, but the rugged naked skin look when the armor is on (chest part) is a scale pattern enlarged to max and angled and colored using same skin color.

Bugger me XD. I did have a bit of a hunch that you used some pattern for it, but since I don´t have such experience utilizing the Darksiders race preset, I didn´t notice it XD. Well, no one´s perfect :).

Correct, igneous rock to be precise, or dried lava, dark grey

Nice, got that right :).

Funny you mentioned, i was about to change eagles color but (like the fauld's gadgets you mention), they cannot be recolored. Another oversight from PS :(

Really? Now that´s a real shame, considering how detailed the fauld with its gadgets is. Kinda same with the eagle colours. Sure it´s a nice looking gear overall, but that kind of unflexibility is just annoying.

hahaha, i am imaginative all right, but here i did some research : google "Khurgorbaeyag goblinoid deity" and see what comes up :)

Wow, you really put some nice background meaning behind the name. Kinda similiar like I put effort to Azizas symbolic name :).

Oh I am most delighted to read that you enjoyed it :D. Gives me similiar delight when you express your opinion on my CASs. I did consider mentioning the red eyes and the backstory, but I as I paid attention to everything else and By the time I had finished with them, it was already practically Morning and I was dead tired XD, so I kinda forgot. Please forgive me XD. Yeah, writing a proper review is almost similiar to that of posting a new batch CAS or an update really. So I highly appreciate your review on my thread. I shall answer to it very soon.

So i am humbled by the praise and will not send Aarzaak after you for the few inaccuracies here and here. Therefore I grant you a 9/10 for this amazing HK testbericht !

Phew, good to know I don´t have to have Aziza watching my back 24/7 for a creepy looking assasin goblin then XD. I am most honoured for the score and praise you have given to my review. Really gives belief that it was worth staying awake that long :).

Too bad you aren't on xbox and i cannot share some CAS with you or have a nice CAS-ual showoff session between CASficionados XD

Yeah, that is indeed a shame. I have mostly been a PS4 guy XD. Oh well, we can still have some sort of sessions and showoffs here ;). Btw, just as a bit of a side question, you happen to have Discord?
