Yes, I'd be worried. Taki players will need to just stop sometimes. Keeping your offense at ambiguous timings while in position to punish unsafe evades or whiff punish is a good idea anyway. The game generally prevents you from keeping constant offense purely by mixups, which is better really, because then the game would feel really guessy. It was never in Taki's favor to go overboard in offense anyway, as her reward was too low (going by SCIV Taki mainly).I really worry that the GI changes will hurt Taki more than other characters. Anyone else share this worry?
That would force you to just throw out a bomb in prediction of a GI? I would hope she has some high damage option she can do on reaction to whiffed GIs. But yes, this is a good tool as post-GI as always. And by the way, guard crush lightning doesn't necessarily mean it's plus on block, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot of moves that are just given the lightning so they can't be re-GI'd.Why? Her bombs, which have always been among her most important tools, are now Guard Crushers. GC moves now beat GI. If anything this makes her stronger.
