EA is being sued by gamers saying that their exclusive deal with the NFL was anti-competitive and left consumers with no alternative. So if you've bought a yearly Madden or another EA football game then you may be entitles to get a little money back, emphasis on a little. The court seems to have given them one large sum to pay back to gamers and it will be split evenly between all those who make a claim.

Oh, I better help my younger brother try to get some money from this since he bought the Madden 2013. Thanks for the information Korn.

My brothers have bought-en only 1 game which was madden 2013. I think they like the card system where you can trade, sell, and buy players to improve your team for challenges or online play. Personally though, I only own NCAA Football 2008 which came with my Xbox.

Of course, you can always buy the previous incarnations of Madden since they are dirt cheap like a $1.99 for the 09 or 10 version. The NCAA series is dead (probably more cheaper), but if you like college football teams (longhorns), you could pick up one since it plays identical to Madden.

At least I think what EA has done right to their fans is dropped their online pass.

to be fair though with the xbox ones way of distibuting and handling media, they dont really need to keep the online pass system anymore because they've got microsoft essentially taking care of it for them. in the end really nothing has changed, its just EA doesnt have to get its hands dirty.
