How old do you have to be to go to a tournment or something like this, beacuse I live in Katy; like 20 mins away from Houston, and I want to go.
If you live in Katy make sure to hit up Danman since he stays out there. If you're willing to travel for EVO you should definitely travel for training sessions in your own city. That way you can get your feet wet at the Houston tournament in April. I suggest hitting up the regional matchfinder.

No offense, but I doubt that whatever you have to say is important enough to be on the front page. As it is now, whatever is on the front page effectively represents the entire Soul Calibur community. Posting your video to the media section and/or making your own thread about it should be just fine.

With that said, SCV at EVO 2k12 GET HYPE!

I'll have to look into what kind of controller I'll be using too, it all depends on how the CE input works for me on pad.
Wow, you're more respectful than most of the site put together. I can do that as well. Thanks for the tip bro. And now the second part of your comment. I hope I'll be able to bind Ce to one button on pad.

LP: And most of the times I don't do anything. And people still want to treat me bad. I wonder what I do to make them mad. All the dumb things I say are out of fun. Sometimes I make mistakes, but we're all humans. No one is superman on this site. All I try to do is help people.

People shouldn't be hating on CY for being trying to be productive. I understand that he says some dumb shit from time to time (Hell, most people do), but, if he's trying to do some good and it is, indeed, good, let him be. Said it before, this community needs more people with talent (and less I-don't-want-to-support-the-community-by-going-to-tournaments-but-want-to-bitch-about-everything'ers).
Dunno for sure if this was addressing me, but I'll reply.

I honestly wasn't trying to offend CY in anyway. In the hypothetical situation that I myself were in CY's shoes and had something really important to say that had to address the entire community, I would think that making a video and having my own thread would suffice, and if it was truly important enough, it would get the attention it needed on its own. I think trying to shoot straight for the front page would be getting ahead of myself.

In hindsight I could've worded the original post in a way that's more explanatory like this post is, but I guess my main reason for not doing so is that I used to play CY online back in the day, so I did want to give him a just lil' crap while banking on the fact that CY would assume I wasn't hating on him.

I apologize if that was overly defensive.

To be honest, I saw it as a way to help me out.

Do anyone know if the brackets will be separated by region?

Also, I've just realised my 21st birthday is the day after the tournament finishes. Does anyone want to celebrate with me after EVO because I'll defenitely stay in Vegas for that! (Also I'll finally be able to order a proper drink in America, lol.)
I'll help celebrate.lol
