OK could you tell me how to unlock all the stages?

there are no extra stages? speaking of stages, anyone find them kind of whack? two raft stages, unknown forest night and day, astral chaos one with walls and one without, two versions of denever castle, and two ancient citadels. i just dont like that, how about some unique stages.
