I'm new to the game on a competitive level, and I hope I can become a high level player someday. I don't have online to practice currently. So it'll take awhile, but I know I will enjoy my time spent into this game. =) I just don't know how I will get offline practice...

Well, in the meantime you could read up on characters in the various character-specific subforums here until you can body all the A1 "players" in Quick Battle mode. If you can do that, you'll probably dominate a majority of online folks. Offline gatherings? You'll probably still have a good ways to go.
