A/N: I want to thank everyone for taking the time and reading (and for some reviewing) Saviors of the Sword, and the sequel Amidst The Chaos. I appreciate some positive feedback as I will continue writing more here as well as other threads. Now, here's my latest project, Iron Soul: MMA Project. A Tekken and Soul Calibur crossover Set around the time frame of Tekken 6. Sort of like a AU but within the Tekken Universe as well.

Iron Soul: MMA Project

At the Mishima Zaibatsu, Heihachi Mishima had grown bored and tired as of late. He had been recuperating after defeating his grandson and former CEO, Jin Kazama after the King of the Iron Fist Tournament 6. He had wanted to extract the devil gene from his grandson, a project he wanted to partake in but really never had the time. But that boredom would soon enough turn into disgust when his assistant and adopted son, Lee Cholan had walked into the boss's office with harrowing news.

"Mr. Mishima." Lee began.

"The international press is outside, they are awaiting your presence." Lee added.

Heihachi was annoyed by this news as he shook his head.

"Tell them to go away." Heihachi demanded.

"But sure it's concerning about your victory over Jin Kazama at King of the Iron Fist 6 and what you plan on doing with him afterwards." said Lee.

Heihachi stood up from his chair and left his desk. He walked past Lee as headed to the elevator downstairs to the lobby, where the press awaited him. Once he reached the lobby, there was already a stage with a podium set up as Heihachi made his arrival. As Heihachi stood on the podium, the press were ready to ask Heihachi questions regarding Jin Kazama, the punishment for his crimes, and especially when there will be another King of the Iron Fist tournament.

"Excuse me, Mr. Mishima." said one reporter.

"Now that you have reclaimed the Mishima Zaibatsu after defeating Jin Kazama, how will the Zaibatsu clean up the mess that Kazama has made?" the reporter asked.

"There are charities and donations in my name that are already being sent out." Heihachi repsonded.

"With Jin Kazama now in maximum security prison thanks to G Corporation's forces, do you believe he should serve out his life sentence or will you issue an execution?" another reporter asked.

"Jin Kazama's crimes against the world will not go unpunished." Heihachi began.

"Whether or not he will be executed or not will be determined by me and me alone." Heihachi added.

The reporters all clamored amongst themselves. They knew of the war crimes and international incidents that Jin himself had created but none knew what the real purpose behind it was.

"Excuse me, Mr. Mishima." said the previous reporter.

"Many people believe that Jin Kazama should already be executed, why prolong this?" the reporter asked.

"That which I know the answer to will not be revealed." Heihachi replied.

"Mr. Mishima, after defeating Jin Kazama and winning King of the Iron Fist 6, many are speculating about when there will be another King of the Iron Fist Tournament?" Another reporter asked.

Heihachi stared blankly at the reporters until he came up with an answer.

"I will announce that as of today, the King of the Iron Fist Tournament will be no longer." Heihachi began.

The reporters were all in shock as to what they were hearing. Everyone around the world have always anticipated and embraced the festivities that the King of the Iron Fist Tournament brought. It was like the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, and Olympics all in one.

"Mr. Mishima, with no King of the Iron Fist Tournament, how will the Mishima Zaibatsu find sponsors that have supported and funded the event throughout the years?" the reporter asked?

Heihachi looked to his left, looking at the ground. He smirked and nodded to himself. He then looked at the reporters and made the announcement that would forever change everything.

"As of this moment, I am announcing a new fighting promotion that will open in a few weeks." Heihachi began.

"One that will test the strength of the fighters to see who has the fortitude of a champion and the intensity of several warriors." Heihachi added.

"That promotion's name is Iron Soul." said Heihachi.

The reporters clamored amongst themselves as Heihachi looked at them.

"No more questions." said Heihachi.

As Heihachi left the podium and headed back to his office, word would soon spread of a new fighting promotion that could possibly eclipse the success of the King of the Iron Fist Tournament. Who would be a part of this new promotion, what companies would take up the prospect of sponsoring this new organization. Will it be similar to the King of the Iron Fist Tournament or will it become a hyper violent sport, bringing in bloodthirsty fans and causing controversy amongst all?

Word spread quickly after the announcement of a new fighting organization founded by Heihachi Mishima. It seemed as though everyone was heavily invested in the prospects of joining in this new organization including former and current participants from the King of Iron Fist Tournament and other professional fighters. One fighter in particular, who was well known in the MMA circuit was Craig Marduk. After he finished his intense training regimen, Marduk was greeted by the press.

"Excuse me, Mr. Marduk." said one reporter.

"As a fixture in the MMA circuit, what are your thoughts on Mishima Zaibatsu CEO Heihachi Mishima announcing that he will open an all fighting organization?" the reporter asked.

"I like the idea that the old geezer is funding an all fighting organization." Marduk began.

"I've been terrorizing the MMA Circuit for so long, I feel like there is no one left to dismantle." Marduk added

"So yeah, I'm looking forward to ripping some heads off and disembowel some fresh meat. The more, the merrier." Marduk smiled as the reporter cringed slightly.

Craig Marduk made it clear that he was ready for some new competition as he expressed his interest in joining the new fighting organization.

Inside a gym in Beijing, China, a young man with short to mid length chestnut brown hair, wearing a black martial arts outfit with a blue sash performs his daily kata, precisely and fluidly executing each move with grace and strength. After his kata is finished, he centers himself, breathes deeply and poses in a stance.

"Well done, Kilik." said an old man.

"Thanks, master." said Kilik.

"You have truly improved these last couple of days." the elderly man smirked slightly.

Just then, a young woman wearing a pink halter top and teal capri pants with bunches in her brown hair walked through the door with a gym bag in her hand. The old man looked directly at her with a stern look on his face.

"You're late...again." said the old man.

"Well, I was..." the young woman began.

"No excuses, Xianghua!" said the old man sharply.

"How are you going to be able to surpass Kilik let alone anyone here?" the old man added.

"I'm sorry, sir. I won't let this happen again." said Xianghua.

As Xianghua placed her gym bag on the floor, she looked up at the monitor as a news reporter was mentioning about a new fighting organization founded by Heihachi Mishima, announcing that thirty two fighters will be chosen as part of the new organization. Xianghua's eyes were fixated on the news until Kilik called out to her.

"Xianghua!" Kilik called out to her.

"There you again, always with your head in the clouds." Kilik added.

"Kilik, did you hear about this new fighting organization?" Xianghua asked.

"I was aware of the news." Kilik replied sardonically

"Really?" Xianghua asked.

"Yes, now come on we need to get you lifting weights." said Kilik.

"Only if you spot me if you're going to add heavier weights." Xianghua added.

"Okay but you do know sooner or later, you're going to need your own strength, right?" said Kilik.

"That's what those free weights are for." said Xianghua.

At a press conference in London, Middleweight Boxing Champion Steve Fox addressed reporters and tabloids about his boxing career.

"As many of you know, I am the undefeated Middleweight Champion of the world and lately I have been entering in martial arts tournaments such as the ever popular King of the Iron Fist tournament." Steve began.

"I haven't had a an actual challenge since last month's pay-per-view event in Las Vegas and we all knew how that went." Steve chuckled.

"But in all seriousness, with all the news surrounding Mr. Heihachi Mishima's announcent for the Iron Soul promotion, I am announcing that I am relieving my Middleweight Boxing Championship to join the new promotion." said Steve.

The announcement of Steve Fox relinquishing his championship to pursue a championship with Heihachi's new promotion shook the boxing world to its core. Steve Fox was the main attraction to not just the middleweight class but to all of boxing. He handed the championship title to the officials as he walked off the podium and headed to Heathrow airport, where he had to catch his flight to Tokyo.

In Brazil, news of a fighting promotion spread rapidly as the country, a MMA hotbed was now focusing their attention back to the national fighting style, Capoeira. Many people were clamoring as to who would represent the proud nation as their fighter. For some, many believed that Christie Monteiro was the future of Capoeira but there were some that said that Eddy Gordo still was the king of Capoeira. A monitor on the screen showed a news reporter with breaking news:

"We have now new reports that Eddy Gordo and Christie Monteiro will both represent Brazil and the fighting style of Capoeira now that they have signed with the announced promotion of Heihachi Mishima's known as Iron Soul." said a reporter.

The monitor shows both Eddy Gordo and Christie Monteiro signing contracts to join Iron Soul.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back at Mishima Zaibatsu headquarters in Tokyo, Heihachi Mishima watched several monitors of news reporters from around the world. He had became impressed with the worldwide attention his announcement had been receiving. He looked at phone as it was ringing. He picked up the phone as Lee Cholan was on the phone with him.

"Heihachi Mishima speaking." said Heihachi.

"Mr. Mishima, I received a call from the prison holding Jin Kazama and they were wondering when you are going to announce his execution." said Lee.

"Tell them that the announcement for Jin's execution will have to be on hold." said Heihachi

"But sir." said Lee.

"No buts! I will let them know when it is time to put an end to Jin Kazama." said Heihachi.

Heihachi hung up the phone and looked back at the monitors. A smile crept across his face with malicious intent on his mind.

"I will execute Jin Kazama...without the law's assistance." Heihachi thought to himself.

Pretty good, pretty good! I honestly love crossovers, and this one makes sense. Though there's something I don't completely get: are the SC characters supposed to be modern-day incarnations of them? Since Xianghua is described as looking modern and all. And what about Yoshimitsu? Will both (or all three, technically) be here, or will there just be one composite Yoshimitsu?

Anyway, keep it up! Btw, since you're following me, I'll just let you know that Dishonored Chapter 3 will most likely be up by tomorrow.

The SC characters are supposed to be modern day incarnations for this crossover. There will be a composite Yoshimitsu, combining his Soul Calibur 3 and Tekken 4 outfit but that's all I can tell so far.

EDIT: The modern day incarnations of the SC characters are supposed to be based off their outfits that they had worn from previous games.

With all the news about former participants of the King of the Iron Fist tournament as well as some of the top international fighters signing on to Heihachi Mishima's latest project, it seemed like the world accepted the good graces of the new CEO of the Mishima Zaibatsu but one thing still troubled him. Jin Kazama was still in prison for committing war crimes against each nation while CEO and President of the Mishima Zaibatsu when he declared it a nation. Lee Cholan walked into Heihachi's office and addressed his boss about the pending execution of the former CEO and ruler of the global corporation.

"Mr. Mishima, it's the penitentiary. They still want to know when the date of Jin Kazama's execution will be?" Lee asked.

Heihachi stood silently, looking out his window. He sighed and faced Lee.

"I have figured out what we shall do regarding Jin and how the world will be finally rid of him." said Heihachi.

"You don't mean?" Lee inquired.

"I will have Jin Kazama publicly executed in the very first Iron Soul event." Heihachi answered.

Lee pondered for a moment but looked at Heihachi and smirked with devious intention.

"Excellent." Lee smirked.

"Inform the penitentiary at once!" Heihachi demanded.

As Lee headed out of Heihachi's office, The elder Mishima looked at the window and smirked with devious intention.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the confines of a penitentiary located off the Pacific Coast, security was on a constant alert watching over various criminals including masterminds, murderers, and anarchists alike, one criminal remained in the solitude of his own cell, not knowing what day or time it was. He was alone, with his thoughts and his insanity. This was Jin Kazama or as he was now known as inmate number 101261131. He was isolated in his very own cell upon request by Heihachi Mishima after being found guilty for war crimes during his reign as Mishima Zaibatsu CEO and President. As he sat there with his thoughts only to himself, the sound of ten prison guards walking towards his cell broke his contemplation and brooding thoughts completely. One of the prison guards opened the steel cell door, revealing Jin Kazama himself.

"Jin Kazama?" one prison guard asked.

"You're free to go." the prison guard added.

Jin stood up as two prison guards cautiously placed handcuffs around his wrists while the other eight guards were armed with guns aimed at him, in case he thought about attacking them. Jin was then escorted from his cell as he was now accompanied by the guards, leading him to the exit of the prison.

"Jin Kazama on his way out!" shouted another prison guard.

The prison guard's warning echoed across the penitentiary as several inmates responded back. As the prison guards escorted Jin to the outside, a helicopter awaited him.

"He's all yours." said another prison guard.

All the prison guards subdued Jin with their stun guns, temporarily paralyzing him. After the guards subdued Jin, they placed him inside the helicopter, hooking him to various chains and locks, to make sure he didn't escape.

"Take him away!" said the first prison guard.

Meanwhile back in Tokyo, Heihachi Mishima made the announcement for the matches for the first ever Iron Soul event.

"One week from today, there will eight matches on the card for the first Iron Soul event. " Heihachi announced.

"Our first four matches, which are all five minute and three rounds each will include the following." Heihachi began.

"Match one will feature Chinese Martial Artist Kilik taking on Tae Kwon Do Ace Hwoarang, match two will feature American Karateka legend Paul Phoenix facing Okinawa's very own Maxi. match three will highlight the women as Chinese Wushu practicioner Chai Xianghua takes on Capoeira fighter Christie Monteiro and match four will conclude the first half with Korean grappler and striker Hwang Sung Kyung taking on Spanish Street Fighter Miguel Rojo Caballero." Heihachi announced.

"There will also be a 20 minute intermission after the fourth match. The next four matches will five minute and five rounds each and will include the following." Heihachi added

"Match five will feature Japanese MMA Sensation "The One Man Army" Heishiro Mitsurugi taking on American Muay Thai fighter Bruce Irvin, match six will feature German grappler Siegfried Schtauffen against former MMA Heavyweight Champion Craig Marduk, match seven will feature former Tae Kwon Do gold medalist Hong Yun-Seong and former Middleweight Boxing Champion Steve Fox, and as for match eight, it will feature none other than the public execution of Jin Kazama against a handpicked opponent." Heihachi announced.

All the reporters clamored amongst each other. They all knew that Jin Kazama was to be executed but as to why he was to be invited to an MMA organization was mind boggling.

"Mr. Mishima, are you implying that you yourself will have Jin Kazama executed at your event by your hand?" one announcer asked.

"I have been asked many times when will I execute Jin Kazama for his crimes, and quite frankly I feel as though that if he wants to fight to pay off his debt for society, he might as well try his most arduous or die at the hands of my chosen champion!" Heihachi declared.

It looked like Iron Soul 1 was already booked and the matches were now announced for the world to witness eight intense battles:

1. Kilik vs. Hwoarang (5 minutes, 3 rounds)
2. Paul Phoenix vs. Maxi (5 minutes, 3 rounds)
3. Chai Xianghua vs. Christie Monteiro (5 minutes, 3 rounds)
4. Hwang Sung Kyung vs. Miguel Rojo Caballero (5 minutes, 3 rounds)
***20 minute intermission***
5. "The One Man Army" Heishiro Mitsurugi vs. Bruce Irvin (5 minutes, 5 rounds)
6. Siegfried Schtauffen vs. Craig Marduk (5 minutes, 5 rounds)
7. Hong Yun-Seong vs. Steve Fox (5 minutes, 5 rounds)
8. Jin Kazama vs. ???? (5 minutes, 5 rounds)

Interesting fighting style choices for the SC guys. Mitsurugi as an MMA guy actually seems like it would work...I personally pictured him as a karate guy (with his "traditional" Japanese image and all), but I guess this is actually better! And the way Yun-Seong fights, he really can't be anything else but a TKD guy. But I wasn't expecting Hwang as a grappler...not that it's a bad thing, it's not at all!

I'd love to see what else you come up with. Keep it up, man!

After the matches were announced, a press conference was held as each fighter that was participating in the event expressed their views about their opponents.

"Basically, my opponent is tough but he lacks the mindset to actually accomplish a real victory" said Kilik.

"What I am saying is that he places his emotions over anything in his battles and I have studied him to a science." Kilik explained.

Hearing this, Hwoarang detested Kilik's theory.

"Oh, really? Me, emotional?" Hwoarang began.

"Trust me, my dude, you sound like a stiff explaining what I'm capable and not capable of." Hwoarang added.

"And speaking of stiff..." Hwoarang continued as he focused his attention towards Xianghua, who was sitting next to Kilik.

"Your girlifriend over there wouldn't mind seeing something stiff from me, if you catch my drift." Hwoarang smirked as he winked at Xianghua.

As Xianghua was blushing red from Hwoarang's comment, Kilik stood up and was about confront the hot blooded Korean before security came between the two fighters.

"Don't worry, Once I lay you out, she's gonna be on her back in my hotel room." said Hwoarang.

After that, Paul Phoenix and Maxi had their time to speak. Being a fan favorite and total comedian, Paul spoke first.

"As many of you all know, I, Paul Phoenix, look to defeat a guy who looks like Elvis and thinks he Bruce Lee." Paul began.

"I will show this Elvis wannabe that I got more Shake, Rattle, and Roll for I am the mighty, imposing, Paul Phoenix!" Paul declared.

Maxi, applauding sarcastically, ranted about his opponent.

"My opponent clearly believes he's better than me but the moron is living in his own fantasy world." said Maxi.

"I know for a fact that his watered down American karate is no match for my karate, which originated in Okinawa." Maxi added.

"Hey, Maxi pad, you're boring these people to death!" Paul shouted as the reporters and ongoers laughed.

"Come say that to my face!" yelled Maxi.

The two fighters were about to come to blows but much like Kilik and Hwoarang before them, security intervened. After two would be confrontations, the mood lightened when Xianghua and Christie Monteiro spoke highly about each other.

"I believe my opponent looks like she handle her own as I will do the same. I won't back down!" said Xianghua.

"Well, neither will I. I can tell you and I are going to have a very good match." Christie smiled.

Unlike the last two confrontations, both Xianghua and Christie smiled and shook hands.

The whole day went on with each fighter talking about the event until it was time to leave.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The night of event had arrived and it was packed house in Tokyo Dome. An announcer stood in the middle of the octagon, microphone in hand.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the very first ever Iron Soul event brought to you by Heihachi Mishima, CEO and President of the Mishima Zaibatsu!" The announcer declared as the crowd roared in unison.

"Tonight, we have eight matches in total, and the first match is a 5 minute, 3 round match!" The announcer added.

"Introducing first to my left, he fights out of Beijing, China with a Wushu fighting record of 15 wins and 1 loss, he stands at 5'6,weighing in at 139 lbs. He is the Rising Phoenix, The Golden Falcon, please welcome Kilik!" said the announcer as the crowd cheered while Kilik bowed.

"And his opponent to my right, he fights out of Seoul, South Korea with an amazing Tae Kwon Do record of 18 wins, 0 losses, and 1 draw, he stands at 6'0 weighing in at 150 lbs. He is the Blood Talon, the bad boy of South Korea, please welcome Hwoarang!" said the announcer as the crowd cheered while Hwoarang stretched and played to the crowd.

Both fighters were called over by the referee as he explained the rules.

"All right, I want a good, clean, fight between you two. No biting, clawing, scratching, or any attacks delivered on the nether regions. Any questions?" said the referee.

"No." said Kilik.

The referee then turned his attention to Hwoarang.

"I have a question." said Hwoarang.

"What time can Xianghua come over to my hotel room?" Hwoarang asked with a smirk.

Kilik growled at Hwoarang as the referee separated him before the bell sounded. The crowd was hyped as both fighters got back to their sides.

"Don't let him get in your head, Kilik." Kilik said to himself.

"Is the fighter ready?" the referee asked as he looked towards Kilik.

Kilik nodded.

"Is the fighter ready?" the referee asked while looking at Hwoarang.

Hwoarang nodded and smirked.

"Let's get it on!" shouted the referee.

Round 1 was already underway as the crowd cheered hysterically. Both Kilik and Hwoarang sized each other up, reading each other carefully before any attacks were delivered. 30 seconds passed and Hwoarang delivered a spinning roundhouse kick that nearly connected with Kilik's temple. Kilik responded back with a spinning heel kick that nearly took Hwoarang's head off. Kilik then blocked one of Hwoarang's kicks with his own and delivered a high kick directly underneath Hwoarang's chin, sending the Korean staggering to the floor. Hwoarang got up quickly and was stopped by the referee to make sure he could continue on. Hwoarang nodded and the referee continued the match. Hwoarang, now incensed, started throwing wild punches in hopes they connect with any part of Kilik's body. Kilik swiftly ducked and dodged each punch before Hwoarang delivered a kick to his chest, sending him flying to the fence of the octagon. Hwoarang charged in to finish Kilik off but the Chinese martial artist used his momentum against him, throwing him over his shoulder as he crashed is back into the octagon fence before landing back on the canvas. Kilik wisely sized up his opponent rather than just go in for the finish. As Hwoarang stood up on his feet, the Korean threw a flurry of punches, none made contact as Kilik swiftly dodged them all. Hwoarang then delivered a spinning roundhouse kick but Kilik caught him by his ankle and swept his other leg from underneath him as Hwoarang fell once again on the canvas.. As Hwoarang got back up to his feet, Kilik hen started to get aggressive, sending the Korean fighter on the defensive before the round ended. Both fighters headed back to their sides as the crowd cheered. Hwoarang underestimated just how powerful Kilik really was. Hwoarang was huffing and puffing while Kilik had found his center, not even much breaking a sweat.

As the second round began, Kilik and Hwoarang sized each other again making sure neither one made a critical error in their game. Hwoarang cautiously attacked first, using a kick but Kilik countered with a back fist to the jaw. Hwoarang responded back with a jumping back kick to the chest, sending Kilik back peddling a little. Hwoarang then followed up with a jumping high kick but Kilik ducked underneath and carefully caught Hwoarang with a sweep kick. Kilik took advantage of the downed Hwoarang and tried his best to subdue his opponent by pinning him down on the mat and try to go for a submission, something that was not in Kilik's game plan but Hwoarang managed to wiggle his way out of Kilik's grasp and getting back on his feet. Hwoarang once again used a flurry of punches and kicks, all of which Kilik ducked and dodged. Kilik then delivered a kick to Hwoarang's face, causing the Korean to stagger followed by a jumping high kick that connected with his chin. With Hwoarang back on the canvas again, the referee started to count but Hwoarang, using the chain link fence for support to stand up. The referee stopped Hwoarang to see if he can go again. Hwoarang nodded and the fight continued. Hwoarang staggered for a bit but shook the cobwebs off and delivered a few kicks. But once Hwoarang went for a jumping heel kick, Kilik ducked and caught him with a butterfly kick that sent him stammering again, leaving him feeling dazed. Kilik tried to finish Hwoarang off with a roundhouse but the Korean managed to duck underneath Kilik's kick. The bell sounded as both fighters returned to their sides. Things were not going so well for the hot blooded Korean. Kilik was too calm, too precise, and too strategic for even him to deal with.

As the third and final round began, both Kilik and Hwoarang sized each other again. Hwoarang waited Kilik out to see what he was going to do first but that's exactly what the Wushu practitioner did as well. Hwoarang was quickly losing patience and made a mistake by going for a takedown but Kilik caught him midway placing him in a headlock but Hwoarang powered his way out, tossing Kilik, who landed on his feet. Hwoarang went for a running jumping kick but Kilik rolled out of the way and caught him with a spinning heel kick, leveling the Korean to canvas, knocking him out. The referee stopped the match as Kilik bowed in respect to the referee and bowed to the cheering crowd. Backstage, Xianghua was cheering wildly but EdgeMaster stopped her and told her to focus. Seeing Kilik pull off a victory inspired her even more to go out and do just as good as he did for EdgeMaster took more time working with her then he did with Kilik as far as patience and precision. As both fighters were lined up with the referee, announcer gave the results to the crowd.

"The winner of this bout as a result of a knockout in two minutes and three seconds of the third round, your winner, Kilik!" the announcer declared as the referee raised Kilik's hand in victory.

The crowd chanted Kilik's name as he bowed in respect for them. With Kilik gaining his first Iron Soul victory, the second match between Paul Phoenix and Maxi was coming next.

After the match between Kilik and Hwoarang was over, it was now time for the second bout of the night.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the second bout of the night will be a 5 minute 3 round match!" said the announcer.

"Introducing the fighter to my left, he hails from San Francisco, California, United States of America with a Karate record of 10 wins and 0 losses, and a Bajiquan record of 18 wins and 2 losses, overall record of 28 wins and 2 losses. he stands at 6'1, weighing in at 179 lbs. He is the Epic Legend, Paul Phoenix!" said the announcer as Paul posed for ther crowd.

"And his opponent, he hails from Shuri, Okinawa with a Karate record of 11 wins and 1 loss. He stands at 5'8, weighing in at 126 lbs. He is the Dandy of the Okinawan Islands, please welcome Maxi!" said the announcer as Maxi wiped his bang backwards in a cool motion as he smirked at Paul.

Both fighters were called over by the referee before their bout began.

"All right, I want a good, clean, fight between you two. No biting, clawing, scratching, or any attacks delivered on the nether regions. Any questions?" said the referee.

"None whatsoever." said Paul.

"Nope." said Maxi.

The fighters returned back to their sides as the referee called out to them.

"Is the fighter ready?" the referee addressed to Paul.

Paul nods.

"Is the fighter ready?" the referee addressed to Maxi.

"Hell yeah!" shouted Maxi.

"Let's get it on!" the referee shouted.

With Round 1 underway, Maxi didn't waste any time unleashing a flurry of kicks that Paul successfully blocked before getting kicked in the chest, which staggered the American fighter. As Maxi was about to go for a roundhouse kick, Paul caught Maxi by the ankle and swept his other leg, sending him on the canvas. Paul then try to go for an armbar submission but Maxi managed to fight his way out of it. Paul managed to keep Maxi down on the canvas but this time, Maxi was on the offensive, placing Paul in a headlock and wrapping his legs around his waist. Paul managed to ifhgt his way out of it, punching Maxi in the sides and in the gut before the hold was released. Both fighters stood back up to their feet. Maxi kicked Paul in the shins and caught him in the hip. Maxi tried to kick Paul in the head but he caught Maxi's right leg, pushing him into the fence of the octagon wall, and sweeping his leg. As he did so, Maxi landed a punch, which cause Paul to let go of Maxi's right leg. As Maxi got back and charged at Paul, the American fighter lifted his opponent, and using his momentum against him, landed him hard on the canvas. Paul then threw a series of punches that Maxi evaded at first until a right hook caught him in the jaw followed by another flurry of punches. It seemed like Maxi was about to slip into unconsciousness when the referee had to pull Paul away from him. Paul let out a roar as the crowd cheered. After everyone had settled down, the referee lined up both fighters as the announcer gave the results to the crowd.

"The winner of this bout as a result of referee stoppage in three minutes and six seconds of the first round, your winner, Paul Phoenix!" the announcer declared as the referee raised Paul's hand in victory.

Paul let out a roar as the crowd cheered once more. Maxi sneered at the sight of the victorious Paul with much disdain.

"I'll get you next time, you bastard." Maxi said to himself.

"Yeah, Yeah, I beat Elvis!" Paul yelled, playing up to the crowd.

The third match between Chai Xianghua and Christie Monteiro was coming next.

With the match between Maxi and Paul Phoenix done and over with, it was now time for the third bout of the night.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the third bout of the night will be a 5 minute 3 round bout!" said the announcer.

"Introducing the fighter to my left, she hails from Beijing, China with a Wushu record of 12 wins and 1 loss. She stands at 5'0, weighing in at 101 lbs, she is the Fatal Lotus, Chai Xianghua!" said the announcer as Xianghua bowed to the crowd.

"Her opponent to my right, she hails from Brasilia, Brazil with a Capoeira record of 12 wins and 0 losses. She stands at 5'7, weighing in at 130 lbs, she is the Brazilian Beauty, Christie Monteiro!" said the announcer as Christie did a cartwheel.

The referee called both combatants over to explain the rules.

"All right ladies, I want a good clean fight. No scratching, clawing, biting, and definitely no hair pulling! Any questions?" said the referee

Both Xianghua and Christie shook their heads. They later returned back to their sides awaiting the referee's signal.

"Is the fighter ready?" the referee asked Xianghua.

"Ready!" Xianghua responded as she took off her jacket.

"Is the fighter ready?" the referee asked Christie.

"Yep." Christie responded.

"Let's get it on!" shouted the referee as both fighters confronted each other.

With Round 1 underway, both Xianghua and Christie began to size each other up, anticipating when the other was going to attack first. As they were sizing each other, Xianghua became distracted by the way Christie was moving. She had never seen anyone move like that before and it was so hypnotizing seeing her move back and forth like that. This gave Christie an opening as she threw a kick at Xianghua, who narrowly ducked underneath it. Xianghua responded back with a jumping heel kick but Christie ducked underneath it and delivered a kick of her own, connecting with Xianghua's cheekbones, causing her to stammer. Xianghua had to shake it off because she knew that Kilik and EdgeMaster were watching carefully and she couldn't afford to lose. As Christie was about to deliver a handstand kick, Xianghua quickly delivered a sweep kick, sending the Brazilian to the canvas. Xianghua frantically tried to stomp away at Christie but the Brazilian's lengthy legs started kicking upwards at her, causing her to back away. Christie performed a kip up as she stood on her feet, ready to confront Xianghua again. This time, Xianghua paid more attention carefully to how the way Christie moved. Christie performed a series of capoeira moves that sent Xianghua up against the chain link fence of the octagon. With Christie ready to make her move, Xianghua countered by leaping onto her opponent, wrapping her legs around Christie's neck and swung herself around, hoping that would send Christie on the canvas again but the nimble Brazilian performed a cartwheel, escaping the move. Xianghua was surprised by how Christie was able to escape Xianghua's leg throw but she wasn't undeterred by such feat of athleticism as the first round came to a close. Both fighters headed back to their sides with a smile on their face. Christie looked assuringly that her opponent was really a handful as the same could be mentioned for Xianghua.

"Xianghua, you can't let her beat you." said Kilik.

"Focus on her movements. They will decide whether you win or lose." EdgeMaster chimed in.

"Okay." said Xianghua.

As the second round began both Xianghua and Christie sized each other yet again. Xianghua carefully looked at how the way Christie was moving, almost as though Xianghua was copying her to get a feel for her opponent. Seeing this, Christie performed a cartwheel to Xianghua off and delivered a jumping heel kick which Xianghua ducked under and responded back with a sweep kick, which Christie cartwheeled over. Christie delivered a front kick to Xianghua's chest that sent the tiny Chinese woman to the canvas but quickly got up, holding her chest. Christie performed yet another cartwheel and was about to follow it up with an aerial roundhouse but Xianghua managed to avoid the attack and delivered a back kick of her own, connecting with Christie's face, causing her to stammer into the chain link fence of the octagon. Xianghua charged right after Christie but the Brazilian fighter rolled out of the way and caught Xianghua with a handstand kick as Xianghua's head bounced off the chain link fence, dazing her. Christie cartwheeled away from her opponent to give herself some space. Xianghua shook off the attack a little and charged back into the fray. Christie went for a jumping roundhouse kick but Xianghua stopped the attack using a kick of her own and wrapping her foot and ankle around Christie's right leg, disabling her for a moment. Xianghua had her right where she wanted her but as Christie threw another kick using her free leg, Xianghua caught her by her ankle, and unwrapping her other leg, she tripped her opponent who kipped right back up but had to narrowly stop herself from connecting with a near knockout kick from Xianghua, causing her to back flip into a chain link fence as Xianghua delivered a jump kick by the end of the round. Both fighters headed back to their respective sides after nodding at each other.

"Very good, Xianghua." EdgeMaster began.

"You seem to catch on with what I was telling you all along." EdgeMaster added.

"Come on, Xianghua. You can do it." Kilik chimed in.

Xianghua nodded. As the third and final round got underway, both Xianghua and Christie started to trade kicks to their shins at one another until Xianghua pulled off a butterfly kick that Christie evaded cautiously. Christie responded back with a spinning back heel kick that Xianghua blocked with her arms in front of her face. Christie delivered a kick but Xianghua caught her ankle and swept her free leg, causing her to fall on the canvas again. This time, Xianghua was going to have to pin Christie on the canvas by using a submission. Xianghua targeted Christie's legs, wrapping both of her legs around the Brazilian's left leg and pulling back on her ankle. At first, it looked like Christie was about to tap out but the nimble Brazilian managed to roll out of the hold and back up to her feet. Christie tackled Xianghua on the canvas but the Chinese fighter managed to wrap her legs around her neck and using her momentum, swung herself around but once again, Christie athletically cartwheeled her way out of falling on the canvas. Both fighters were back on their feet and were once again trading kicks from their shins to their hips until Christie caught one of Xianghua's kicks and ducked underneath an enziguri kick that would've knocked her out. Christie, still holding Xianghua's leg, was about to put her in an ankle lock when Xianghua wiggled out of the hold, losing her slipper in the process. Xianghua took off her other slipper and continued the fight. Both combatants traded kicks and later punches but Xianghua started to get the better of Christie, who wasn't accustomed to throwing punches then she does kicks. Xianghua started to take some control but Christie started to mount a comeback, shoving Xianghua off her. Both fighters looked exhausted as the bell sounded, ending the round. The crowd cheered loudly for the two as they shook hands and embraced in a hug. The referee then lined up with the fighters as the announcer read the results.

"After three rounds of fighting, the judges scores are in!" declared the announcer

"Judge 1 scored this match 30-29 in favor of Chai Xianghua." said the announcer.

"Judge 2 scored this match 30-29 in favor of Christie Monteiro." the announcer added.

"And Judge 3 scored this match 30-30." the announcer added

"By the scores of these judges, we can conclude that this match is a draw!" The announcer declared as both Xianghua and Christie looked on in shock. Xianghua and Christie sighed and shook their heads, knowing that they wanted the victory over the other. Eventually Xianghua and Christie once again shook hands and embraced in a hug.

"Good match." said Christie.

"Same to you." said Xianghua.

"I can tell we're going to be good friends." Xianghua smiled.

"Friends and rivals, too." Christie added.

The crowd chanted for a rematch as the fourth match of the night between Hwang Sung Kyung and Miguel Rojo Caballero was next.

With the match between Xianghua and Christie Monteiro resulting in a draw, it was now time for the fourth match of the night.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the fourth match of the night will be a 5 minute 3 round bout!" said the announcer.

"Introducing the fighter to my left, he fights out of Seoul, South Korea with a record of 12 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw. He stands at 5'7, weighing in at 137 lbs, he is the Korean Patriot, Hwang Sung Kyung!" said the announcer as Hwang waved to the crowd.

"And his opponent to my right, fighting out of Madrid, Spain with a boastful Street Fighting record of 12 wins and 0 losses. He is The Matador of Madrid, Muguel Caballero Rojo!" said the announcer as Miguel cracked his knuckles.

The referee called both fighters over to explain the rules.

"All right, I want a good, clean, fight between you two. No biting, clawing, scratching, or any attacks delivered on the nether regions. Any questions?" said the referee.

"Nope." said Hwang

"None at all." said Miguel

Both fighters headed back to their respective sides. The referee then called out to the both of them.

"Is the fighter ready?" The referee asked Hwang.

Hwang nodded.

"Is the fighter ready?" The referee asked Miguel.

Miguel nodded and smirked.

"Let's get it on!" yelled the referee.

As the first round began, both Hwang and Miguel circled around the center of the octagon, waiting for the other to throw the first strike. After waiting for at least 15 seconds, Miguel began throwing wild punches that only connected with the air as Hwang began dodging and ducking the attacks, one after the other. Hwang then saw his opportunity by slamming his opponent down on the canvas and keeping him down there. Hwang then started to use some amateur wrestling like moves but Miguel managed to roll out of the hold. Miguel resumed throwing his wild punches, trying to force Hwang up against the chain link fence of the octagon but Hwang once again side stepped Miguel's oncoming punches and slammed him on the mat again. Miguel managed to kick his way out of Hwang's grasp and stood back up to his feet. Hwang carefully sized up Miguel again, making sure he didn't do anything out of the ordinary. As Hwang tried to go for a headlock, Miguel lifted Hwang off his feet and threw him across the center of the octagon. Miguel charged in and was about to deliver an early knockout blow but Hwang moved out of the way and caught Miguel with a spinning heel kick that connected with his face. The referee backed Hwang away as he administered a 10 count. Miguel managed to get back up by the count of 6. The referee checked to see if Miguel was fine as the Spaniard nodded. Miguel rushed right into Hwang, who tackled him down on the canvas again and tried to go for an armbar but Miguel managed to roll out of it. Miguel landed some offense on Hwang before the bell sounded. Both fighters headed back to their respective sides. Hwang looked to be more focused out of the two, while Miguel showed signs of frustration.

As the second round began, both Hwang and Miguel circled around the center of the octagon once more. Hwang and Miguel traded kicks with one another until Hwang caught one of Miguel's kicks and landed a punch to his face. With Hwang now as the aggressor, Miguel tried to use the Korean fighter's momentum against him but it backfired against him as Hwang placed Miguel in a Kimura Lock but the Spaniard used his free arm, tried to fight his way out of it. Hwang kept the Kimura Lock in place, grounding the Spaniard. Hwang went from a Kimura Lock into an armbar. Hwang was working over Miguel's right arm, making sure he wasn't going to able to use it. Miguel, out of desparation, bit Hwang on the leg, causing him to let go of the hold. The referee saw this and gave Miguel a warning. Miguel ignored the referee's warning and continued fighting nonetheless. Hwang and Miguel started trading kicks until Hwang started blocking Miguel's kicks and landing a series of punches connecting with Miguel's chest. Miguel threw a punch but Hwang ducked underneath it. Miguel threw another punch but Hwang backed away from it. Miguel threw a right hook but Hwang countered it with a back kick to the stomach and a kick to the face. Miguel tried to charge at Hwang again but the Korean placed him in a headlock slowing him down. Miguel tried to fight his way out of it until Hwang wrapped his legs around his body, increasing his grip on the headlock even further. Miguel was starting to slow down and eventually passed out as the Korean cranked hard on the neck as the referee called for the bell. Hwang released his hold and bowed to the crowd.

After the match, the referee lined himself up with the fighters as the announcer read the result to the crowd.

"Your winner for this bout by way of submission in three minutes and two seconds of the second round, The Korean Patriot, Hwang Sung Kyung!" said the announcer as the referee raised Hwang's arm in the air. Miguel gritted his teeth in anger. He wanted a rematch with Hwang and he knew that he could've easily knocked him out.

After the fourth match, it was now time for an intermission until the fifth bout began.
