Because we need an universal thread that gives anti-strats for all characters with contributions made by people who have the time to learn all of the specifics.

Absolutely, if you put aside the players' matchup knowledge, reaction time, space control, combo knowledge, creativity, and their ability to perform under pressure, fighting games are purely guessing games. Yup.
