Still have a bit of touching up to do. Hopefully when the CaS dlc comes out I'll be able to tweek a few things, but overall I'm happy with how he's turning out.

I see Castlevania, i like!! Damn, and what wouldn't i give for a manly whip style in SC just so i can create an accurate Belmont for once😥

Very nice first CAS with good colors, but I also think changing style, for Raphael style actually.
Try to make some full body shots and in-game shots for a better feel of your character.
You get the perfect night or castlely stages set for that :)

I second that, a good stage would be Ostrheinsburg as it genuinely feels like a perfect fit for Dracula's castle.

Thanks! I did originally have Ralph's style but I liked the way Geralt's felt on him a little better. The usage of runes kind of plays out the use of items and magic. I also love the weight of Geralts attacks as it feels like he always has the intent to kill with nearly every blow which is how I imagine Alucard, although I do agree that Raph's demeanor is a bit more fitting.

I'll definitely get some screens of him in action for you guys and play around with both styles!

Good one!
One of my first cas is an Alucard too, we basically picked all same pieces (aside pants)!

Nice! Did you post it? I'd love to check it out!

Maxi’s jacket actually looks awesome placed over Raph’s suit. It’s really a shame those are the only boots of that length though.

The boots are actually pretty true to the character. They aren't exact but they're pretty close.

Regardless though, those armor packs can't come soon enough. There's a lot of just simple items that aren't available that would open up a huge amount of options. The belts, facewear and extras I think are lacking the most. We could use some better faces too.

Round 2!

Since Gatsu beat me to the rest of the SotN characters I've decided to kick it old school and do an OG version of Richter from Dracula X. Enjoy!

Wanted to recreate some Castlevania-esque moments here. Azwel's style came in handy on this one for items and Ivy of course for the whip, which actually doesn't look too bad on him.

Had lots of fun with this one yet again. Next to come will be Dracula himself! Stay tuned!

Wow, i got nostalgic goosebumps from the 2D-esque screenshots. The axe, the daggers, the Hydro Storm...i remember years ago when i played Rondo of Blood and SotN on my PSP.

Thanks @Kraft_D for reminding me of some fond memories by seeing Richter. Congrats for the awesome CaS!

@Ardnent thanks man! I had lots of fun making him and actually ran into an Alucard online while playing him the other day, which turned out to be a battle of epic proportions. Lol.

Now I know I said Dracula would be next and he is in the works, however I felt like goofing off a bit and making an original CaS.

Name: Tom Mars
Age: 54
Occupation: American Football Referee
Likes: Honesty
Dislikes: Cheaters (aka The Patriots)

Bio: Tom Mars, a former football coach that turned official after countless scandals took place in the league. By refereeing Tom believes he can restore and enforce honest fair play back into the sport he loves.

FB_IMG_1541185559138.jpg

One fateful day whilst at a game in Lacombe county, a fierce storm rolled in seemingly out of nowhere. Tom hurried to rush players and fans to safety, however he would soon find himself face to face with spiraling torrents of rain, wind and debris. He frantically tried to get himself to shelter but was struck by the spiraling rubble, leaving him unconscious before the destructive winds carried him away.

FB_IMG_1541185519005.jpg

When he awoke, Tom found himself in a strange place unlike any he had ever seen before. His body ached as he struggled to his feet. As he raised his head to take in his surroundings, he would soon find himself surrounded by members of the Manji clan... Equipped with only his Old Man Strength and Dad Jokes, Tom decided to use his clever wit and terrible use of puns to calm the threatening gaze of the approaching warriors.

FB_IMG_1541185524787.jpg

Amused by the old man's jests, the clan escorted Tom back to their village to meet their clan leader Yoshimitsu. Obviously Tom had several questions for their leader, however Yoshimitsu's time wasn't something he offered for free...

"For every joke you tell me, I will answer a question. Make them good! It doesn't count if I don't laugh. Go on...I'm waiting..."

"Hi Waiting, I'm Tom."

FB_IMG_1541185528919.jpg

The Halls would fill with laughter at Tom's quick responses that he continued to fire off one after another, thereby gaining the respect and trust of Yoshimitsu and his clan's men. It was then that Tom learned that he had somehow been transported to a time before football.

FB_IMG_1541185536927.jpg

Any regular man would be devastated by this discovery, but not Tom. This was the perfect opportunity for him to return order to the sport he loved. By befriending the Manji Clan he was able to teach them the rules of football, a game that he discribed as a strategic battle of wits, courage and strength. Facinated by his passion, Yoshimitsu allowed Tom to assemble a team from his men and dispatched others to neighboring towns to spread word of the game he called "Football." Leaving Tom in charge of the clan, Yoshimitsu set out to find soul edge to help carve a path in history for Tom to achieve his ultimate goal.

Am I mistaken, or are those stickers on his arms and head (for thin hair)? Because that's just ingenious right there.
Tom's not generally the kind of character to catch my interest but the story really sells it. The idea of your average middle-age Dad-level football coach getting mixed up with all these mystical ninjas, evil mutants, gods and demons and sentient weapons... hysterical. Great job.

Yes! I made him bald and then used the crescent moons to kind of shape a strap of hair around the sides and back, then used the dirt stickers to give it a thinning look and kind of blend it in. Glad you noticed!

Glad you enjoyed his backstory as well! As completely out of place he is in the world, I wanted to make sure he still maintained his goals and values but also still played a role in Yoshimitsu's quest for Soul Edge. Haha. I had a blast with this character as he's based entirely off my father-in-law so I'm glad others can still get a chuckle from his character and lore.

I can feel the passion in your CAStistry, you have the same urge to use ExEq in a creative way and your RCs are cool. I can't wait to see your Dracula (partly because i recently did a bunch of vampires including a couple Gaby Belmont from Lord of Shadows, if you know this excellent game, feel free to check them out and steal anything for inspiration :) It's an honest proposal, as i don't really need views :)
Your 2D 8bit era nostalgia shots with SC6 pose shots is a nice touch, and i noticed you (followed my advice and ?) added ingame shots now...

Being a pun/dad jokes enthusiast, i can relate to Tom immensely hahaha!

His design and backstory mesh well with the SC lore, which is not an easy thing to accomplish when a character comes from a far different, more socially advanced place/future. You nailed this one though so, good stuff :)

Great use of ExEq to simulate his balding, i noticed you used the body hair option (is it still an "underwear" eguipment btw?) to give his arms a dense, hairy jungle(😂) and, i love how you applied stickers on his shoes to make them look like football/sports ones.

Really loving this OC Kraft! :D

Great work on Alucard! You're the first to discover to discover the Maxi + Raph top combo. I'm also totally digging that Richter. He perfectly captures the cheesy 80s vibe. Also Tom and his background is hilarious. That balding effect is amusingly realistic.

Haha thank you! I'm actually surprised you can use the maxi + Raph combo given how fussy the clothing combos can be. Pretty happy that those two worked so well together.

Richter turned out better than I was expecting tbh. Once I got the ball rolling it all just came together and I started to have a lot of fun with it.

Tom...what can I say that hasn't already been said hahaha!

Yes! I saw your Gabriel! I actually low-key lurk your thread on the regular along with a few other CaS artists when I have the free time. Sorry I don't comment more often! I'll try to be better for that since you've take the time to give me some honest feedback!

Yes sir! It was good advice! Definitely adds an extra level of immersion. I appreciate the suggestion!

Haha yes indeed. Body hair is an underwear option. I didn't think it was there at first then I just stumbled across it mid way through haha.

I find the scar stickers are good for making shoe laces. Looking back on this one I probably could have done it a little better but I was too focused on writing his quirky back story! Glad you guys are getting a kick out of it.

As promised, I give you Vlad Dracula Tepes. This is mostly a recolour and clever mish mash of CaS parts. I wanted to avoid using the Maxi/Raph combo on this one as didn't want him to look identical to my Alucard, but I still wanted to preserve that dark Gothic feel. I'm a little bummed out I wasn't able to use the cape with the big fancy collar as it wasn't compatible with some of my pieces, however the strategist cape was a good alternative. Used the single horn ExEq to shape his goatee and the elf race to get the pointed ears. All in all very satisfied with how he turned out.

Ps: if anyone knows of a good method of exporting screenshots from PS4 I would love to hear it! Cheers!
