Very excited to be back on 8WR after all this time. So far we've got the gameplay trailer, and I thought it'd be fun to invite newer players to the series and/or veterans to spot some familiar moves from Mitsu and Sophie.

I see his back grab,

SC4's 33B (probably some sort of power move all together)

I saw Mistsu's old 66A from Soul Calibur 2. He will be a beast in this game.

-There is a meter of some sort under the time clock. Probably for supers but not sure about what else yet.

Well, I have been looking for interesting moves in that preview and this is what I can get for Mitsurugi

New horizontal move(it seems to be a new 3a) You can see at 0:53
22A from SCIV is back(Yesss! I missed that move)
1A No longer knocksdown in NH(but maybe in CH?)
MST KB No longer NC, you can get hit with the low but block the high, however, the second hit causes a stun
He have a new move which looks like his BT B+K, it seems to be his new 66K. You can see at 2:35 and 3:53
2KB(Same as in SCV, but it seems to deal less damage)
1aB Have a new super cool animation
Another new move at 2:47. Low hit, then mid hit that launch and leaves you in Relic or he can launch itself forward after the low 6:04
He have a new RLC A. He also a new move in RLC(Maybe K?) You can see both at 2:49
Ha have AAA? His regular AA followed by 88/22A+K from SCIV 5:36
66AA from SCII(OMG hell yeah)
One of his regulars grabs is replaced by is A grab in MST
44KB/4KB first hit no longer knockbaks(at least in NH) but it seems that the whole string is guaranteed

I haven't seen his 66K kick or his 3A punch, so it seems that they removed for new moves, if that's the case, I'm going to miss 66K specially, that was one of his best moves.
 
I think Mitsu has a new 2A+B to puts him in a new stance. Mitsu has FC 3B and stuns on normal hit goes into MST.
 
Mitsu looks really close to his SCII version, which is great and remains my favourite to date (I also mained Mitsu in SCIII; but that was mostly due to Sieg being unplayable for me). I am also really digging the promise of the gameplay being close to SCII and V.

Nice analysis, but Reversal Edge lose to Guard Breaks like 3A+BB (3rd Hit) in Soul Charge Mode. They protect you from Chip Damage when the opponent is in Soul Charge Mode.
 
I've seen RLC B, which looks like it now does guard damage.

I've been waiting for someone who knows more Mitsu stance moves & transitions to play the build. Like, what about SCIV's 6B+K? BBB(held)? RLC A? Etc. All I see so far is 3B 234B / 1A / 66BB / B6 for days.

3rd Hit of AAA is his 22_88A+K in SCIII & SCIV
New 3A with similar 50/50s on CH with a SHK stun
1A is no longer KND on NH or CH. It's Lethal Hit is triggered by being a Run Counter. Xianghua's 2A+B is like this as well.
Has SCII WS AA
3rd Hit of Mitsu's BBB is his Reversal Edge
Mitsu's old 1B is 2B
Mitsu's new 1B is a new stance.
Mitsu's 1BB is a tackle
Mitsu's 1BA+B is a guard break that transitions into RLC for A+B. The Lethal Hit is actived by being out the Reversal Edge.
Mitsu's 6B8 is now his 4B
Mitsu's MST BBBB is a NCC with the 4th Hit being like Mitsu's classic 4B
Mitsu's 11_77A low is gone
Mitsu's 44A can also be done with 11 & 77 inputs
Mitsu's 22_88A is his SCIII version. Lethal Hit is triggered by whiff punishing your opponent.
Mitsu's SCII 66AA can also be done with 33 & 99 inputs
Mitsu's 11_77BA can also be done with 44B
Mitsu's has classic 33_66_99BB with 33_66_99(B) going into RLC.
Mitsu can combo 33_66_99(B) into RLC AA to RLC B
RLC B is a Guard Break which causes a Lethal Hit by being out the Reversal Edge.
RLC K is a tackle.
Mitsu's 3B is a Lethal Hit on a Crouching opponent.
Mitsu's old A+B is back with the just frame after CH.
Mitsu's A+B+K from SCIV:BD is now A+B.
Mitsu's 3BB can be done in Soul Charge Mode.
Mitsu's 2K is now Mitsu's old 1K.
Mitsu's 1K is now Mitsu's old 2K.
Mitsu's 1KB doesn't KND on NH, but it does on CH & in Soul Charge Mode
Mitsu's 1KBB in Soul Charge Mode is his 2K[BE] in SCV
Mitsu's 22_88BB is launcher in Soul Charge Mode.
Mitsu's 4KB is still a NC, but the 4K has no mini launcher anymore.

Mitsu's B6 have different input.
Mitsu's FC 1B can Lethal Hit by ducking a high attack.
