Hey guys, new here, I'm a huge fan of both Halo and Soul Calibur, still trying to make Master Chief, but it's hard to do so, I just recently got Soul Calibur 5, so here are a few of my creations. What do you guys think?

Chris Cooley - Washington Redskins of the NFL, I'm a big fan of the Redskins, was born and grew up in DC.

Tom Brady - New England Patriots of the NFL

Rinoa (Not to be confused with the Final Fantasy 8 Rinoa,). She is a original character, I just like that name.

I was disapointed that my favorite Soul Calibur character didn't make the cut in V, so I tried my best to recreate her, I use the Devil style because she is ferious for not being in the game, lol

I present, Talim

Another character that did not make the cut, Amy using Rapheal's style.

Just for giggles, I made a sexy red head Viola (or Amy????). this gets peoples attention online, lol

More to come as I unlock more stuff (only at level 29 atm)

Agreed with Vilarcane. MC is fairly common, and commonly made better. Everything else looks half-made, and mostly excludes special equipment items (Amy is another common creation, but making her without the fur feels like a crime). I personally don't like re-made characters from older SCs so I tend to just not comment on them, but I've seen Amy with the fur, so seeing her without it looks lazy.

Your football players look default-body skinny, if not thinner...but football players are huge! Come on man, buff 'em up! You could also make some decent pads using a certain chest armor/shoulder combo, though you wouldn't be able to get the look of having their jersey over it. You could also make a better facemask using more parts, such as the ant antlers and whatnot.

Thanks guys, I was reading a thread with lots of tips. VILARCANE, you're right, that helmet did look funny so I touched him up a bit, I used the chain mail as it has the midsection and the were pants look funny being fuzzy, too bad it can't be darker (chains) what do you think now? The turtle shell is too large for this helmet so I used 2 screws instead, plus, it also adds the filter on his face mask (Based of MK V Helmet). Tom Brady is skinny in real life, making him the size of a Linebacker would look funny, I will touch up on Chris Cooley and their face mask too. The reason Amy does not have the fur is because of the flowers on her hair, I will change that if you think it looks right.

I don't know if it's just the picture quality, but your more tan characters look a little too orange. Maybe move the slider over a few spaces to the yellow shades? The saturation might be too high, too, I'm not sure.

It's the picture quality. they are really lighter and less orange in skin tone and my TV is set to Vibrant. I'm Latino, so I have a thing for Latinas and our natural tan skin color. ;)


I have a both a legit Xbox (for my online gaming) and a JTAG XBOX for tinkering and modding games for fun, stays offline at all times. I'm waiting until they release an update for the screenshot plugin, then I would be able to take good quality screenshots. I ripped my Collectors Edition SCV and copied my save from my legit to it. Just waiting on that screenshot plugin to take better quality pictures.

it is better, yet it is impossible to come even close to the real one with the editor's limitation and equipments, so i will never be wowed by any master chief i fear...try something where you can achieve good likeliness, i always go for photorealism in my recreations, or i just forget it...

Your Talim is a faithful, strong foundation to build on. Experiment with stickers and patterns to see if anything tickles your fancy. As for Amy, I think Lord Draco's correct. Amy's flowers were attached to her pigtails- which aren't here- so having them seems a little bit odd. It's entirely your preference but the fur is probably more distinctive than the flowers, in my opinion.

Now on to Mr. Chief. I have a rough one I made while bored. Recreations aren't really my thing but I think this is at least a starting point. I've forgotten when some of the parts were unlocked and the legs are DLC but they could probably be subbed for something else (maybe Tiger Lily Greaves? which I think are a higher level unlock) if you don't have it.

Zipper sticker (max size) was used on the Rubber Unitard twice, once for the legs once for the torso. Pocket sticker was used on the legs (point of interest- even if you chose to put it on the left leg it will be mirrored on the right leg as well). Heart Special Item was used on his waist. His waist is a pain in the arse. You can take it or leave it. Legs are from the SCV Character Pack DLC- Oathbearer Greaves.​

Two Pure Rings were used for the visor, one red and and one yellow to give the gradient effect. Pocket sticker was used on the mask for added detail.​

I don't usually post my stuff in other people's threads and I don't want to clutter yours so just say the word and I'll take this down. Keep at it. There's plenty of threads around for you to steal ideas from to be inspired by! I look forward to seeing what you come up with.​

Thanks guys, I know its tough creating the Chief, but I'm happy with mine and have received much praise when I was fighting online today. Fliptop, no problem I have no issues with seeing other in my thread. Your version looks really good, I like the idea of using the rings for the visor, but the down side of it would take away the vents on the fave mask, I may use the same grieves as yours too, tough choices indeed. I have also updated my Talim for the contest, but I will go ahead and post those in contest thread. As far as Amy, I will use the fur instead. I appreciate the help guys. :)
