It was suggested that I post a quick little aftermath thread so here goes, bear with me xD
First off I just wanna show the results, shoutouts to Shabz for an impressive performance and an equally impressive Seigfried/ Yoshimitsu.
For those of you that may not know, SFO is a growing fighting game community based in Leeds (UK) that have officially been running for almost 2 years strong, with Street Fighter as it's main game. There has been some interest recently in Soul Calibur and trying to organise a tournament for that. Last week was the first SCV tournament we've ever held and I'm honestly impressed with the outcome. There were also a few more people that wanted to enter but unfortunately they couldn't make it last minute.
I'm not really sure what else to say other than there were some really good matches, close calls and hype moments! I've always wanted to get into Soul Calibur at a high level and lack of community interest is what held me back. But thanks to this tournament I've had the opportunity to meet fellow players, hit the labs, level up and ultimately reach 4th place, which I'm happy with but I was aiming for Top3.
With that said shoutouts to SFO and everyone that made this tournament possible! There are currently talks for another tournament next month with even bigger numbers and I'm really excited! So stay tuned! :D
