Really despise the hamster-wheel grind of loot boxes, even for cosmetics. Especially for cosmetics if it's SoulCalibur. I just want base game stuff I can unlock, and a flat price for DLC that in no way relies on RNG.

I just hope that we won't have to wait for 2-4 months between DLCs (or even insane half a year like in Tekken).
And it would be great if lootboxes were banned in all countries at the end of all this, still not fully resolved, controversy that was ignited by SW.

This kind of mentality is what this companies are taking advantage from, if i want to gamble i go to the casino and do it there i assume that you guys are also oke with micro transactions and the like? it should not be like that, you should not have to gamble to get what you want, nobody asked a gamble mechanic in game to be able to get that costume you really want or that legendary weapon that almost nobody has. also think about the people that get addicted to gamble and it starts all because some scumbag money grabbing company introduced gambling in a game.
thank god SC6 is not doing this, i was afraid that they would introduce this but because that game is not that big like other titles like COD and Battle Field and other titles out there they did not do it. TBH as far as i know no other fighting game has doen it so that could be another reason.
you all guys know what happened to starwars battlefront 2, we are just 1 or 2 of those cases to either:
1. make them change they way they are doing business now.
or
2. banning any gamble mechanic that involves real money of any kind.

The limitation of characters in SC6 is bad :( 4 DLC , 2 guest and only 23 chars where there is Inferno, mimic probably and Azwel, boss with no own weapon rly. Tekken 7 at least has rly big roster of returing characters from evry installment and fu ckin 8 new characters! It bothers me the most, I hoped to get at least 4 new characters with new weapons, nationalities etc like Namco did with Tekken 7. But we have only Groh ( who is cool) and Azwel, cool but no weapon rly, we should have 2,3 more new chars, some females, crazy new weapons.... SC6 is quite a mix for me at this point, even some original chars won't make it. Ehh, SC , SC

And a wasteland of gamemodes (and surprisingly, still a pretty buggy online on PS4). This was discussed a few times already. Not only SC has smaller budget (not being the "main title" and all), but huge portion of it was distributed to CaS and single player modes. You can't have your cake and eat it too, budget is not unlimited. If SCVI will be a success SCVII would be bigger.

Concerning this lootbox business i guess i should admit i havent played enough games to have an informed opinion on the matter but i feel there is a right and wrong way to do everything. Obviously something absurd like several copies of the same gear unlocked is shady AF. It depends on the details and how much is offered at what cost. Then comparing that to what has been offered previously.
