Yes. Notice how Nyte disappeared completely once his female newcomer was deconfirmed? All his hype and discussions centered around this character and without it he took off...
So what with the recent steam updates and everything it’s all but certain we’re getting an announcement in late July or early August - around the time EVO would have been and mimicking the pattern and gap between releases of Season 1 where Amy released in March and Cassandra in August. Anyone remember how long the gap was between Cassandra’s announcement and release last year? Also was Season 2 announced at the same time or did that come later?

Cassandra was released the day after her reveal at EVO. And yes, Season 2 was announced the same day as Cassandra.

Pretend like there isn’t a CAS pack. This way you’ll be happy if it’s good and not disappointed if it’s not. The characters come with the best stuff anyways.

They probably just use a randomizer to decide what assets will make up the CAS DLC. I don't expect anything decent. But something is better than nothing!
