SOULCALIBUR II: Gambling Edition

Bandai Namco has recently formed a licensing agreement with GameCo Inc to develop a SoulCalibur II gambling machine. It is claimed to be a "skill-based" game that remains similar to SoulCalibur II, but reduced to about 45-60 seconds. The game should be debuting in late 2017 according to the source links below. Here are some quotes that both Bandai Namco and GameCo Inc have to say about the game.

It is safe to say that SoulCalibur Pachislots was a success since Namco is investing more into the gambling genre. However, the new SoulCalibur II-based machine seems like it will go under the radar due to GameCo only providing their games to 3 United States casinos. How much longer can the "soul" still burn without a new main installment?

I honestly would not be surprised if in a few years, Namco goes down the Konami route and focuses the majority of their business on the extremely profitable gambling businesses of pachinko and slots.
