I want both Hwang and Yun Seong back but for me Hwang is more a priority that Yun Seong.
It’s not all that complicated, really. If we had six returning slots, it’s easy to include both. But with only three, not so much. Hwang has the edge on Yun-seong in a limited space scenario, but they could both fit, given unlimited space. Like if we had nine returning slots, I would easily include Algol, Dampierre, and Hilde, but not before then.I don't know why everyone here is so obsessed with Yun-seong now. Nobody really wanted him back.
R.I.P Hong Yun-seong
I still stand by the notion that the game was launched earlier than it was ready, evidenced by Okubo having to fight for more time, but they still didn’t get enough time to get everything in. At the time they were about to shove it out the door, before Okubo got the extension, Tira, Aeon, and Hwang were likely not ready. Tira had the most done, and was weighed to be the most popular DLC seller, so she got to be the poster child for the season pass. Aeon was next in line, evidenced by the partially completed Lesser Lizardman style, and Hwang had the least done, so he didn’t even get a faux partial style, but that’s why he’s in situations where he should be fighting but isn’t actually seen fighting. Han-myeong made it in, and he just uses Mitsurugi’s style. Hwang could have done the same, but it seems they made a conscious decision to not do this, so that he could be added later, and proper. That’s how I feel about it, anyway.Though people keep telling me hwang is basically a lock. I can’t help but feel doubtful because so many of the same people last year INSISTED without any doubts that Hwang and Lizardman would be hidden characters in the game. Then those slots turned out to be one for Inferno and Tira plus dlc slots
this game did ruin me though. I was too obsessed with this game before launch. Combing 4chan for leaks, looking for all these clues. It had very real consequences for me in real life! It's still not as bad as the wait has been for Life Is Strange 2... episode 1 came out last year in September and episode 5 isn't coming out until this year December. And this is just flatly an unfinished episodic game, at least SoulCalibur V's story was (mostly) complete out of the gate!
But I wouldn't leave 8WAYRUN, talking with you guys and such is too much fun.
