SoulCast #14: Mitsurugi

Second on my list of characters is one you will see very often in tournaments: Mitsurugi. For this episode, I managed to get some time with Mateo_Galvan, a name many know but someone who doesn't often do interviews.

Arguably the best Mitsu in the States, and possibly the world, he rarely posts in strategy forums, sticking mainly to event threads, so you know you're in for something special. Enjoy!

Hard rush down counters my style despite the character that I play. Mateo, LP, Belial and Akire all play aggressively which is perfect for the SC V system, especially with a character like Mitsu. Because of this, nobody can say that they own these players every time.

Kamaage is the highest placing Mitsu at Evo, so you might as well throw him in the mix for consideration of the best Mitsu. i don't really know much about him other than he looked like Rocky.

Winning mirror matches is one thing, but can any of us say that we won a real major with Mitsu like EVO, MLG, World tournament, SBO, etc?

In that regard, who the f cares about the best Mitsu title?

Just do the smart thing like LP and switch from Mitsu to Viola.

Funny how the interviewer thinks Mitsu has good while standing punishes. It's pretty subpar imo unless you can fully charge 236B
