Events:
  • BlazBlue tournament, run from 1 - 3 pm with finals at 5:30. Registration will close at 1:00PM. The tournament is double-elimination: early brackets will be best of 3 matches, quarterfinals and semifinals best of 5, and finals will be best of 7. Unlimited characters are disallowed. Stages will be randomly selected. Played on Xbox 360.
  • SoulCalibur IV tournament, run from 3 - 5 pm with finals at 6:30. Registration will close at 3:00PM. The tournament is double-elimination: early brackets will be best of 3 matches, quarterfinals and semifinals best of 5, and finals will be best of 7. Algol, bonus characters, and CAS characters (including random creations,) are disallowed. The trailing player is permitted to select the stage; if both players have won the same number of matches, stage selection will be random.
  • "All Random" Soulcalibur IV tournament, a quick bonus tournament to wind down the event. All Random will be a quick single-elimination, single-match tournament that pits random-creation characters against each other each round inside a randomly selected stage.

Venue:
Stage of History and Wheel of Fate will be hosted at First Pick Games, located at 4228 Stone Way N. in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. Their website provides driving directions and a map showing their location.

The staff are incredibly friendly, and have given us great support in setting up this event. Please show them how friendly fighting game fans can be, and feel free to shop between your matches!

The Entry Fees and Prizes:
$3 Venue Fee: To be paid by all participants.
$3 Wheel of Fate Entry Fee: The pot will be split between first-, second, and third-place finishers 70/20/10.
$3 Stage of History Entry Fee: The pot will be split between first-, second-, and third-place finishers 70/20/10.
$1 "All Random" Entry Fee: The winner takes all!

It really is a shame we couldn't get some of those NorCal people to come through. But I'm guessing since Evo and Nats are over they're all done. At the very least maybe the Portland or B.C. people couldve come through. All well. I guess it's up to us to keep SC alive on the WestCoast.
