Top players from all across the country + U.S will be competing to win our 1st national SF4 tournament. Who’s going to take the crown home? The legendary Prez? Justin “Marvelous” Wong? Sauga scrubs? SIDE TOURNAMENTS - $5.00 entry fee per side tournament
- Side tournaments will be nominated and must follow this criteria:
- The DIRECTOR must nominate the game. If you want it on the roster, then you will be responsible for making sure that it runs properly. If you want to play in it but aren’t willing to direct I suggest finding someone who is willing because otherwise it isn’t getting added.
- A nominated side game must provide its own resources. For example, if you would like CvS2 nominated as a side game then it must have at least 1 TV, 1 PS2, 1 copy of the game and 2 sticks provided. I have instituted this rule to ensure that the resources for the main roster (in particular televisions) are not strained for side tournaments.
- A minimum of 16 players must be pre-registered and PAID on the day of the tournament.
- Please note, I will not be allowing side team tournaments to be nominated. They take away too many people at any given time from the main tournaments and hold things up.

Director list will be updated as people step up. If you were a director for the original date and is able to attend this one, I would definitely appreciate your help here.

BROKEN STICKS/BUTTONS:
If you have any stick/button problems at anytime, STOP PLAYING, get up and inform the director. The stick will be fixed/changed and the match will be replayed. If you decide to whine about the sticks after the match, YOU WILL NOT GET A REPLAY MATCH.

BRING YOUR OWN STICKS/CONTROLLERS
The console equipment will be labeled and registered to ensure its safety. However, please be careful with your sticks. Furthermore, if you know you’re attending and you do not have a stick to use, make sure you have a friend who can donate. All singles matches will enforce a 5 minute rule and if you can’t find a stick within that time you will be disqualified. This is advance warning and will not be brought up again.

Damn. I was really looking forward to playing SCIV at T10 because I haven't had the opportunity yet to play it at a larger event. Isn't it still worth it to have SCIV even if only the TO + Waterloo players come?

Yeah, sorry guys. I don't know about Vince, but I can't make it. Finals start that week so I'm really really busy.

After exams however, I will be in Toronto for four months! I could join you guys more often for casuals then!
 
This tournament is a go. So warn everybody to show up and represent.
We'll have fun and hopefully get a good number.

I hate you guys...:) .. i most likely show for this one... WHY IS EVERYtHING ON PS3. sucks for me cause i dont have a stick. and my 360 pad is all i got.. im going to suck... lol:)

I also only have an xbox 360 controller. Is there any way I can come and play using my xbox 360 controller? Do players have any access to a converter?
 
I wouldn't worry too much about having to play on a PS3 pad. Both Stryder and I own 360's and we play just as well on PS3 pads. Just try and get some casuals in before the tournament begins to get used to it.

Oh and Russell, you got the name of the banquet hall wrong. It's "Embers Banquet Hall"

By the way, I'd love to have a teammate for SC4 teams. Not like I would have one from Ottawa, so yeah anyone would be appreciated, I don't care.

Also, is anyone going to hold casuals/practice on Friday night? Would be great to get to know some of you guys better.

Hey btw, what is the status of SC4 at T10? It's off the T10 topic on SRK and DINO just told me no one wants to run it, any news or is DINO having a tinfoil hat situation again?
