The Best Guest Character Idea EVAR!

My friends and I were discussing guest characters that people might actually WANT in future SC installments and we came up with this totally amazing idea:

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

New Sword, Staff, Chucks, and Sai styles that could ACTUALLY BE BASED ON REAL FIGHTING STYLES instead of this lightsaber/force nonsense. Also, this could actually validate the existence of TMNT3 (the movie), where they are sent back in time, except this time they make a stop in Europe and fight for the Soul Blade/Calibur.

I disagree with you and think this is an amazing idea for the following reasons:

1) Vanilla Ice could provide the soundtrack.

2) All of the fun "Shell-Shock" moves they could do.

3) Jaxel thinks it wouldn't be a good idea.

all they could add on new would be raphael (the sais and then there would be a name confusion)... otherwise mitsu, kilik, and maxi CAS would suffice.
 
We almost already do have them Katanas for Leonardo (even if he only gets one), chucks for Michelangelo, bo for Donatello, and we just need the sai for Raphael. I've seen them out already, but unfortunately, the best actual player I've seen with one has one of the worst Donatellos I've ever seen.
 
Of COURSE I'd prefer new characters (specifically one with dual hooked swords), but if there MUST be guest characters (and it seems Namco is going down this route), then there can be no better than the Turtles.

And Leo would have a dual katana style, and perhaps Michelangelo would bring back the double chucks. Basically, make all of their movesets CAS movesets and it would be a synch to put in.

Raph could have a Auto-GI heavy Sai style (since that's what Sai's are meant to do), and Donny would have the only semi-generic style.


You people need some perspective here. Seemingly there will ALWAYS be guest characters in the SC series from now on since Namco creams themselves when they think about it so doesn't it make sense to have DECENT guest characters who's fighting styles wouldn't be craptacular?


Also (added bonus) there would be a Raphael who actually doesn't suck balls.
 
TMNT in SC? Hell naw.

I don't hate TMNT, but there needs to be a stop to guest characters. SC doesn't need them. Just add more stuff to CAS so you can create anyone that your heart desires. You can create half shelled half assed Ninja Turtles in SC4 right now if you haven't done so already. But if Namco ever decides to do some shit like that, not only would I not buy another product from NB, I would also have to choke someone.

I Think if they NEED to have a guest character, it should be Hibiki Takane from SNK's Last Blade series.

Because they need a characyer with a style like Musō Shinden-ryū who....isn't holding an umbrella.
 
Sadly, if Soul Calibur 4 were released around this time instead of when it was, I could see this happening. The turtles are now getting their own new fighter game that, according to rumors, will be very similar, if not exactly the same as Smash Bros.
