Surprise, surprise! I was inspired to create this 2P for Raphael after finally finishing his Soul Chronicle. Enjoy!

Originally this was supposed to be his SCIV/SCIII 2P, and then it became his SCV 2P, and then I remembered that Raphael studied medical science...so this came into existence! Also, my dumbass finally realized that you can turn off the UI in Training Mode. Whoops L O L.

Nice Emmanuel alt. I might have used the strategist suit for Joachim to be quite honest. Like what you have going but seems plain.

I normally would have used the Strategist Suit but I try not to overlap pieces too much between my creations (I already used prior for Altair's 2P). That and I feel like that might have been the easy route, so I tried challenging myself this time around!

Introducing the first set of my actual villains, Amrita and Delphine!

I wanted an excuse to give Tira's playstyle to somebody, and so I came up with this malfested Indian beauty with an oversized chakram. She has a bit of an obsession with Altair, given their rather brief but eventful history together...

Making pirate characters in this game at the moment is a bit of a challenge considering you can only get so far with the basic pieces and then you end up having a basic looking pirate. I took a bit of liberties with Delphine's design, but I'm pretty happy with how she turned out (especially in relation to one of my main OCs). Just ignore the fact that her shirt is almost skin-toned; I might change it to some other color.

I had a bit of fun mixing and matching pieces for this guy. I wanted to evoke something of a Scottish highlands dude trying to fit in the Germanic countryside.

My idea with this one was more of like a traditional take on the Biblical description of angelic beings, which is easily summed up to as "incomprehensible". Unfortunately, there's only so much ExEqs I could use and for some reason Azwel's scarf disappears if you use more than two ExEqs at once.

Your creations just keep getting better and better! Theodore and Genesis both look grand. Really really nice ExEq use on both of them, love Theo's shield and the celestial orbit type thing around Genesis' head.
Gorgeous 2P for Altair. That goat-demon masquerade theme comes together for him quite well.
Your 2Ps for Joaqim and Raphael are equally awesome, as is Delphine.
Those 2Ps for Seong Mi-Na and Xianghua are jaw-droppingly beautiful. I am floored, and I wish they were official costumes in the game.

Here we are, a new set of costumes based off of The Four Gods:

Spoiler: Azure Dragon/Qing Long

Originally, I was planning on Xianghua being the Black Tortoise/Xuanwu instead but I realized that she actually has a sword named Qing Long, so here we are lol. I had a shitton of trouble trying to make pieces work for this but I think I'm really pleased with the end result.

Spoiler: Vermilion Bird/Zhuque

This one was a no brainer. I had a lot of fun designing this one and I'm kinda happy he turned out looking like a Dynasty Warriors character.

Spoiler: White Tiger/Byakko

Just ignore the fact that Maxi happens to have a lot of dragon imagery associated with him L O L. I was going to make him the yellow dragon/Kohryu but I wasn't sure who else I could get as the tiger. Plus I thought his temperament matched the tiger quite well. Note: you can't see it in these screenshots but the chains around his waist make it look like he has a tail.

Spoiler: Black Tortoise/Genbu

Surprise: it's not an Asian character lmao. I was actually really happy with how this one turned out. I got the snake imagery down, but the most trouble I had was with figuring out how to incorporate the actual tortoise shell in there. Bonus points for Grøh owning a pair of katanas as a weapon.

Spoiler: Yellow Dragon/Kohryu

Another surprise! If you haven't realized by now, I basically got the protagonists of SCVI for this costume set. Now, Sophitia was a bit harder to put in line with the rest of them considering she doesn't have any oriental style weapons, but I figured "fuck it, she's the Yellow Dragon so she's special". And here we are.

Maybe I'll considering making something with the Schwartzstrom...? Stay tuned!

Wow, thank you! It really means a lot to be hearing things like this when I'm wracking my head trying to come up with new things to make the limited amount of equipment we have to use (and also the arbitrary restrictions imposed on us).

I'm really considering taking a creative hiatus only because there's only so many things I can make before everything starts looking the same; at least until the first CaS DLC comes out. Maybe, we'll see. In the meantime, up next: The Four Horsemen (?).

Happy new year, everyone! It's been a hot minute since I posted on here and I felt bad that I was neglecting this board so I decided I would start off the year strong with some new creations! (That and I'm waiting on the One-Shot Contest to resume in the time being.) Here's a dump of some new characters I've been working on in the past few days.

I picked up Xenoblade Chronicles 2 a couple of weeks back and I was lowkey inspired by the concepts they had regarding Blades, so here I've taken mythological figures and put my own spin on them as six elemental spirits (fire, water, wind, earth, light, and dark). And also maintaining them as somewhat generically attractive, in true Japanese fashion.

Starting things off, we have the god of flames, messenger of the heavens, the guardian spirit of fire, Agni:

It's pretty typical to design someone as being associated with fire and immediately slap all sorts of reds, orange, and yellows on them, so here I opted to take a lesser-seen approach to designing a fire being and channeled more from the idea of blue and white fire (which is hotter than regular ol' fire). Here you can see a lot of light blues and whites being mixed in with the orange, reds, and yellows. His hair was also originally orange but I changed it to that silvery blue at the last second, which ended up looking much nicer than I expected.

Next, we have mother of chaos, goddess of the sea, guardian spirit of water, Tiamat:

I originally opted to go for a more regal design with her, as befitting of her "mother" title, but I realized that could be a little boring for someone who's the embodiment of primordial chaos. So I busted out all the torn items and animalistic things that I could slap on this lady. (I even gave her a bone sword!) I wanted to add more blue to her design but I figured that wasn't indicative of the "sea" aspect enough, so I decided to throw in some scale textures and some deep greens and teals. Also horns, because Tiamat is supposed to be draconic, lol.

Up next, we have the bringer of spring, keeper of blossoms, the guardian spirit of earth, Kore:

You might know her better as Persephone, but that would imply she is already the queen of the underworld here, which...she isn't. Not yet, anyway. Here she is, in her literal undeflowered state, and so we have vibrant yellows and warm browns and reds. Not to mention, the obligatory flower crown on her head. There are aspects here that I threw in as well that would be indicative of her later nature as matriarch of the underworld. Lemme know if you can find them! :)

Here we have the father of the sky, controller of weather, guardian spirit of winds, Stribog:

Spoiler: STRIBOG, Guardian of Wind

Stribog is normally depicted as being old and wizened, so I decided to switch that up and make him a young, scholarly looking fellow who just happens to love big wizard robes and reading dusty old tomes. In keeping with the trope of wind is green, I definitely wanted to incorporate green into his design without it being overbearing (or ugly, because green is pretty hard to pull off). I opted to go for touches of emerald green so it's rich but not too overwhelming, and yet it has a pretty prominent spot in his design, especially next to the white of his top.

Up next is the child of the moon, princess of the heavens, guardian spirit of light, Kaguya:

If you guessed that the concept for this costume was anachronistic playboy bunny in space, then you're absolutely correct! This outfit really just came together by itself. I originally wanted to go for a more shinto miko-inspired look, but I decided that I might as well roll with the punches if I'm already using 2B's moveset and weapons on her. So here we have something of a fanservice-y take on the original rabbit princess of the moon.

Finally, we have the emperor of the underworld, the host of many, the guardian spirit of darkness, Hades:

This one was one I definitely had the most fun with. Now, Hades is traditionally depicted as this pale, dark-haired fellow, while modern interpretations maintain that angle while saying he's drop dead gorgeous. I was a bit confused because Hades is a Greek god, and yet he's always gotta be pale and dark-haired, so I kept played with the "deathly handsome" aspect and made him olive-skinned with a surfer's body and pristine, strawberry blonde hair. The rest of his outfit played on his regal status, as evidenced by the pomegranate-colored threads and the dark, spiky armor (plus the thorny crown!).

I'm not quite sure what I will be doing with these characters yet, but I'm working on it! Anywho, I always enjoy feedback and comments! I look forward to more time spent in this mode as the new year is upon us (and that CaS pack, mmmmmm).

I love the fact that, despite adding all those strong, vibrant colors, they all still look down-to-earth, which is awesome! If I had to pick favorites, I'd go with Kaguya and Hades. The former, not because of her fanservice-y look, but for the concept behind her (which reminds me of Cowboy Bebop and yes, it's a good thing it does), always a big fan of technological, anachronistic space-like imagery! The latter, because you totally nailed it! The balance between the old mythological tales and the more recent, modern depictions of him is great, you stayed true to his character by integrating the colors of pomegranate (quite a detail that many don't use when creating him or similar designs so, bonus points) and, I like how you made him look like a surfer with his olive skin and bright hair, quite an interesting spin as it adds some contrast.

Yup, great batch to start off the new year! :D

Long time no see folks! These are a few characters I actually had sitting in my files for a bit but I was waiting until the Amy update to give one of them the proper editing it needed. Introducing...

As a humble orphan from a humble village, Seth had dreams bigger than his hometown and wanted to join the military to be a knight. After coming of age and applying for the military, he was rejected for being too aggressive with the other recruits despite his natural affinity for weapon-based combat. He soon came into the graces of a certain Don Kalisto, who entertained his splendid, if somewhat bloodthirsty, appetite for combat. Seth soon joined the ranks of the Obsidian Wolves, a famous traveling mercenary band, where he was left to fulfill his need for crossing blades while living an otherwise just and carefree life. That would all change in the event of an impromptu rescue mission in the capital...

The current vessel of the goddess Armazd as prophesied by the Holy Order of the Goddess. She leads a typically sheltered life inside a gilded cage, revealed to the masses like an idol in living flesh, but otherwise surrounded by walls of tall, unbending marble. She was raised on stories of fantastic gods, of which one was currently living in part with her own soul. But she knew nothing of the world beyond her prison, as the age-old story of the divine meeting of the gods Armazd and Orihman were believed to drive humanity to ruin. Despite the unflinching eyes of the Order on her every move, a chaotic series of events would lead to her in the hands of the Obsidian Wolves and a world ready to be explored...

These are just the few of the many characters that I have planned for a new universe I'm coming up with. Can you figure out the storyline? Until next time!
