I can't remember many of the books I've read. I seriously need to get back into the habbit.

Catch-22 and Naked Lunch are up there.

Long walks at night--
that's what good for the soul:
peeking into windows
watching tired housewives
trying to fight off
their beer-maddened husbands.

Charles Bukowski

and the best book of all time?

1. JURASSIC PARK - It's about math! AAAAND it has fuckin dinosaurs!

I never leave home without my Concise Oxford Dictionary.
I have one on my phone!
I read a few books here and there most of them were meh but a few I liked are
Memoirs of a geish (the ending was really disapointing though, at least to me it was)
Way of the peacful warrior
Footprints of god (Actaully one of my favorites)
The curious tale of benjamin button (its was pretty decent)

Time to nerd up this shit:

Frank Herbert's Dune
Ender's Game/Ender's Shadow (both are equally as good and are set in the same universe so yeah, technicality but fuck off)
Snowcrash (this is actually a really "shit" novel when you first read it, it's standard cyberpunk stuff and even the main character is the most cliché'd shit ever, he's a japanese american who walks around with a katana and he's named HIRO PROTAGONIS. Then you realize it's a goddamn satire on the entire scifi genre)
Neuromancer
A Murder of Crows (best book in the whole A Song of Ice and Fire series imo, tho the whole series is excellent)

If we're talking short stories:
At The Mountains of Madness
The Valley of Fear
Wings in the Night
The Langoliers
The Hours of the Dragon
