Using a Raspberry Pi for Retro Gaming

I bought a Raspberry Pi 3 and installed RetroPie on it to play old games.

It is powerful enough emulate games from Atari 2600 to the 5th generation (N64, PS1). Even though it struggles with most N64 games, it runs PlayStation rather flawlessly.

Do any of you own a Raspberry Pi or are interested in getting one?

I don't understand people who do this. Why not just emulate the games on your computer?

The main attraction is that the Pi is tiny and you can plop it by your TV without taking up much space.

Especially attractive if you equate a computer with work which a lot of people do.
