Basics:

Voldo actually posses two forms of the Calistro Rush (CR). From here on, we shall refer to them as CR1 and CR2. CR1 is the common method of executing CR, i.e. 236, and all the derivatives of that, while CR 2 is the 8WR version (8WR any direction B+K).

Calistro Rush Form 1 (CR1) : 236, and all the similiar derivations.

Calistro Rush Form 2 (CR2) : 8WR{any} B+K

Aside from strange arcade glitches, only CR2 can be canceled. Since CR2 is the only version cancelable, we will ignore CR1 from here forth.

Canceling the Calistro Rush:

The CR2 Cancel is not truly game altering in anyway, just simply execute 123 during CR2 and Rat Chaser will result. Rat Chaser is considered a crouch state, so inputting neutral will result in WS attacks, while continuing to hold 1_2_3 will allow FC attacks. In fact, all the rules that would normally cohere to Voldo's crouch state apply to Rat Chaser, he can execute throws, use WS attacks, input FC attacks, RCC, jump, or 8WRB. Therefore, as stated, CR2 Cancel is just canceling CR2 to Rat Chaser.

The interesting thing about this cancel is that Rat Chaser can be cancelled back into itself or used as a movement method. Naturally canceling Rat Chaser back into itself is simply (123)xN. The stuttering effect produced can be applied to bait attacks from your opponent as they rise while you mentally psyche them out. To use Rat Chaser as a movement method execute it as (12[3])xN for forward or 123(32[1])xN for backward, these too can lure attacks and bait WS A CH well.
