They used Spawn and Abelia's movements to create Azwel.

All of this reminded me that we don't even have a sabre user and we never got any representative from eastern Europe (while Tekken gets Krystyna to troll Christie fans). We even probably going to loose longsword in next installment. Pity

Western Longsword moveset disappearing would be a darn shame.
Regarding Sabre, I think they'll mashup that moveset with scimitar, taking the best from eastern europe / central asia / middle east so it isn't clear where the character originated from (like some sort of wandering nomad)

Yes, but without the spins. So far I could not find videos of this weapon, only images.
