What's less laggy? PS3 or Xbox?

I've been playing PS3 SC5 recently and...The lag is just unbearable too many times. I was thinking about swapping a Xbox copy from someone in exchange for PS3 or just trading it in just for less lag online.

I know for a fact that there will definitely be lag at Xbox, I just hope its not as nasty as lagstations.

So is Xbox less laggy? thanks.
 
Live is much less laggy because XBL itself is more stable and there is a lower chance of people using a wireless connection. Wired connections FTW!
 
My friend owns SCV on xbox so I tried it online and the online is much better than psn.

I just hate the xbox controllers for fighting games.

+Usually no outages in service except for extreme cases like maintenance
-Game chat only, mics are difficult to set up and nobody uses them
-Connections are often wireless, causing more lag
-Matchmaking is slower

XBL
+Connections are often wired, providing more stability
+Relatively quick matchmaking
+Various forms of chat, mics are easy to set up
-Costs money
-Service can sometimes crap out at the most inopportune or random times

The major PSN minus:
Constant dropped games.

After using Live, SC V PSN drives me nuts.
 
As an ex-biased Ps3>360 person, I prefer X-box. The controllers aren't really meant for fighting, but I'm rather used to that D-pad.
 
I can't stand the xbox controller so i just bought one of the madkatz SF4 fight pads and it works very well for me in soul cal.

Tho the loss of two shoulder buttons could effect some players.
 
i cannot emphasize how flawless the connection is on PSN. It is virtually lag free and it never EVER disconnects.
