YoRHa 2B Joins the Stage of History

Today, Namco-Bandai officially announced the first DLC character for SOULCALIBUR VI. Probably the most fan requested character I've seen on Facebook, 2B from Nier: Automata will also be included with her own stage and music. If you haven't previously played Nier: Automata, I highly recommend it. It's not the game you think it is, and really tries to subvert what you expect from video games in the first place.

I wish more people were as honest about Amy as you are, really sad that so many people want a loli clone of a character we already have, but then again this game does appeal to the lowest of the low so I shouldn't be surprised there are so many amy fans.

She will be in SC7. She can't be in this timeline as it is SC1-3.

I'm a Talim main. I don't mind Amy and one of our best players here palyed her in SC3 and 4. But Amy is just Raph with a better moveset.

 

Please no more Amy/Raph talk, they both have rapiers and thats it. Their styles and gameplans are completely different...
Amy's 100% a valid character although i doubt theyll choose her over the other missing candidates. My fingers are crossed tho.

I kinda do miss Algol but I lowkey want Olcadan. Give him some unique moves thru soul charge... just a thought. Unfortunately adding a mimic character wouldnt be wise, again too many other missing candidates.

 

I wonder if they're thinking of releasing costumes DLC packs or something similar. I highly doubt it because you can take an existing character and change his/her cloths and colors to something more of your liking. I only say this because I would like to have a SC IV Tira skin with the good ol pigtails. Especially that attire.

 

I sense desperation from Namco. Were sales that bad?

Late to this but... SC6 did have the misfortune of releasing around the time that Black Ops 4 came out, and sales both in North America AND Japan, had it in the low to (barely?) mid 10Ks.

 

I was actually super excited to see 2B coming to scvi- although I haven't played nier I always thought her character design was really nice, and I don't mind another guest character with there being atleast two more characters coming, but I can understand some people's frustrations

Im thinking Cass or Setsuka mybe Hwang.
Honestly it could be anyone tho. I personally hope no one from 5 tho and i find it unlikely that they choose someone from 5 anyway.
I will say tho soulcharge could make characters like Lizardman/Dragon Lizardman and Pyrrha/ Pyrrha Omega both possible. They can transform like Groh or Kilik.

And for anyone worrying about the timeline, one glance at the storymode shows that this game takes place whenever.

I have a strong feeling that we will eventually get hwang/yun, lizardman and cassandra.

It would be a funny twist if we get rock and he ends up being better than astaroth.

Yeah this sucks major balls. I mean she is not a bad choice for a guest but heck - I really hoped for some legacy characters (mostly Cassandra) and considering how things are it seems we can actually wait half a year for that. Sigh
