Lost Swords

I'm glad I got several brand new characters instead of several stale ones.
Serveral new ones that alone make up at least the most hated entries in the series according to their general reception.

Her story is already pretty messed up. Her whole life, she only had ONE friend. Tira. The insane sadistic bipolar psychopath. Then, whenever she tried to make any other friends, Tira would kill them or make Pyrrha do it. Oh yeah, she was also sold as a slave. And when she finally catches a break and is sold to a nice man who she comes to love and gets engaged to, Tira brutally murders him and the blame gets placed on Pyrrha. :(
There's just a large aspect to her story they left out off screen which were oddly the most interesting parts of it.

My dream for single player in SCVI will be a story mode for each character with more than one full cutscene so I can actually understand what's happening. I hope Lost Swords starts that.
But most importantly, I would like a pronunciation guide.
Personally I'd prefer it if they utilized more of the ingame time to explain the events or character reactions of the story into the fights themselves. Basically have the characters talk and argue with each other (with subtitles included) while you fight them to continue the plot and only have the cutscenes to potray the introduction, Outro and Intersecting plot devises that change the story. Kinda what FPS games do.

I think it's a combination of factors which made the mimics extra disappointing. Thinking about to the release of the game, people didn't know what the unlockable characters were. So we unlocked a mimic... and another mimic... and then another mimic. People probably had some hope that those could have been Talim, Zasalamel or any of the other missing characters.
I think its more of a stigma from the idea that reptition in the gaming world = laziness. + the fact that it was stated that PS was rushed as well cementing people's disappointment. Most reactions I remember was the 3 mimics being compared to as last-minute filler characters.

Character DLC? More like MORE TIME TRAVEL PLOTS.
All I can think about is the potential time travel plot. *closes youtube tabs* Thats enough Final Fantasy XIII-2 for me.

The thing is, no one wants the game to be bad. I think it's best if Project Soul delays it and continues adding more things in.
Well it's free and we already know it has no multiplayer, so I have little confidence that it will be any good, even with more time. In my opinion, they should take the extra time to work Soulcalibur VI to ensure that it is a great game when it comes out. But then again, the quality of this game will effect the success, which may have an impact on VI's budget.

SCVI will be sorted out when SCVI is sorted out.
But I digress.
Now, is LS going to be more story-focused? Any ideas about potential plots not involving time travel?

I still think that maybe LS is just a prototype of all the ideas they want to add for a future real release but they're testing what ideas they can wade through. Thus why it may not be for multiplayer. They probably don't want to cause a whole new level of balance issues before they can determine what ideas they want to incorprate. So that might be why its only a storymode exclusive. Its the easiest place to test out all that rediculous stuff where it wont matter; and the story presentation itself was one of SCV's biggest issues.

Wait, are you trying to insinuate that the garbage fighting mechanics in LS is a precursor to something bigger? BTW that's what playtesting is for, not piling concepts on a disc and hoping for the best.

Do you think there´s a chance to put online in the game? Or once Namco says something they just keep it up no matter what?

Anything is possible. But think about it.. do you really want online for this game? It'd create nothing but bad habits, mashing, and worse players. If they reworked the system then multiplayer would be nice, but as it is now....

I didn´t play the beta, but I understand your point after I´ve read some opinions.

But since the game has been delayed with the excuse to bring a better result, that make me think in so many chances, like put online and make the game more balance for multiplayer, or maybe I´m just a fool dreamer...
