Lost Swords

Amy = Viola? Viola = Amy? That is the question.

I guess we'll soon know.... but until then,
I bet for many of you this will be a sight for sore eyes.... =D

The video is also up in the fanmade section in the media library. I also included a very high quality direct download link to this video on that page if anyone is interested.

Update: Here's another extra tid-bit - vertical screenshot of Amy
Amy? or Viola?

Dude, that is beautiful :3

I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand, nice work and this just about acts as evidence that Viola was Amy. On the other hand, this could indicate that little effort is going into lost swords. They just copy models from SCIV onto SCV engine and recycle moves. But hey, I guess it's free for a reason

Viola = Amy?

The resemblance is definitely striking, isn't it? The backstory behind SCV seems to be open to that possibility but who knows. All we do know is that Viola has no clue to her past having suffered from amnesia. Since SCV takes place 17 years after the events of SCIV, that would make this character what? Late 20's, early 30's? Amy exact age is "unknown" or arguably anywhere from 10-14 depending on which literature you reference from SCII-SCIV era. That is if Viola is even being consider as Amy to begin with... or if perhaps once was, since PS could pretty much take the story arc anywhere... or change it/erase it all together.

In the video above, we see Viola transformed into Amy by equipping her clothing, hairstyle etc. however her body form is the same. Of course if you compare the in game character model to SCIV, you'll notice she is a lot more petite and childlike (obviously) in the previous games whereas in SCV she is full grown woman. Still, you can see the resemblance and consider this as a projection had she kept the same look.
Looking at the character model, you can even see their faces are similar.

The only difference of course is how the face model was rigged to the bone and the facial animations giving Amy her younger look (i.e. bigger eyes) in previous game.

Anyways I wouldn't put too much investment into SCLS. I don't really think SCLS is the big project or successor carrying the bulk of SC forward since it's a free to play project so probably has little to do with the canon or if at all. I think we'll have to wait for either Unbreakable Soul or the next proper SC game. They are just re-using assets or retrofitting them into SCV engine for SCLS. Infact, the video above really has little to do with SCLS actually except for a few parts so is not really representative to what the final build (existing or forthcoming) will look like in SCLS or otherwise.

But don't doubt there are some surprises on the way even in SCLS.... hehe. There are some totally new stuff on the horizon. Here's a teaser super spoiler sneak peak.

teaser sneak peak - an example of some totally new CAS items
some wierd cat helmet with vixen dress

what looks like something like Gundam mecha armor or some kind of futuristic pilot suit

The textures are kind've screwed up due to incorrect translation but its obvious these aren't found in any of the previous games indicating some new stuff (albeit gimmicky).

In that photo, it looks like she aged if you compare it to the SCIV concept art. Could it be possible that Project Soul actually made her older?

Welcome back Taki, guess some people are dancing like crazy right now.

Outside of Alexandra girls, Taki is my favourite character of the rest.
