I want to play as legit as possible, just personal ethics.

AB works offline but its boosted online, I know this yet I still used it anyway.

If I can win without it I'll be even better

Why don't you use 1K more? Seems to be pretty solid damage for a quick low and is only like what, -2 on hit? I'm sure it works offline.
 
GGs to everyone i've played recently too many to remember. Beloved your raph was very efficient you used some strats and setups that I never really explored. You used some moves that i dont use like 44k which I see can be better than 6k when you anticipate a low or 2A. But you also used 2A+B which i've been told by others is a raph lag tactic which i personally dont have a problem with since it is a super duper fast 29 frames! lol. most things labeled as lag tactics i think are unwarranted since we all have to deal with playing online and some characters without said lag tactics are still better than other characters with lag tactics. And we all know raph is so lacking that he needs all the moves in his weak ass move list especially ones that hit grounded. Anyway if we play that ft10 everything goes raph vs raph!
 
GGs Panda, Eli123s, and Beloved. Was trying to get the hang of Nightmare but besides his awesome step ability and backwards evade with his stance I can't really use him well. Ah well, more training.

After much pleading from badass99 -_- a miracle happened. I played online again just now. My connection was actually ok but had to quit after a while cuz it went 1 bar all around later.

So GGs to Spitfeyere, karl_34, badass99, djlwd, and SamEJIV.
 
Raphael's 2A+B isn't a lag low because it's key weakness isn't it getting blocked(it's good SG damage), but it being EASILY STEPPABLE to both sides. I use it in SET UPS that force an immediate roll(44K, 2B, if person doesn't roll to sides immediately, 2A+B hits), at the start of the match far reaching low(like Voldo's 1A), or in combo's. THAT'S IT. I don't want to hear shit about this move being used by me in some lag tactics fashion. It's not Cervy, Cass's, and Mitsu's 1A, I NEVER use it at close range, I NEVER throw it out there randomly like I do Raphael's 3B, 3K, 6K, 6A, etc....It's not a lag tactic, and even if it WAS, I don't use it in any way, shape, or form AS ONE. End of discussion.

Solid, good games and happy to help with the Raph game. 44K is safe(-10 I believe? Maybe -12, borderline safe) It's a fast TJ, 2B is guaranteed afterwards for 35 damage(decent for a single move on hit), and you have a 2A+B setup if they don't roll IMMEDIATELY, which means if they DO, you can possibly pull a tech trap or another hit as their trying to get up. 44K is very useful. 6K is still Raphael's go to TJ for safety reasons, but don't ignore 44K.

To all the people I've been playing alot recently, I'm going to be learning the Apprentice now, so I hope you guys will still play me even if I'm going to being an easy beatdown for the next month at least..(Not like Raphael wasn't anyway to many of you....) I need a third character badly, Voldo's already my high tier choice, and there's no way in hell I'm using some garbage broken braindead bullshit like Kilik or Amy. He's a turtle style character with some heavy combo's, and he has decent speed and step killing to go with it, along with a decent oki game, which maining Raphael I'm NOT used to at all....

I have noticed the lag tact use when fighting Neji. My question is why though? Believe me, I'm the first to say Neji has been guilty of lag abuse- however, after many times talking to him I've averted his playstyle. When him and I fight, he doesn't lag abuse me what so ever. His Ivy is, surprisingly, legit. At least when we're fighting. Anyways, I saw both of you in a room and you 11A'd him with Algol (easily, a horrid lag move) yet, he didn't do any lag tacts. I'd say forgive him for what he has done, and lag him when he does it to you.

raph 2A+B is a lag low.......

just because it can be stepped doesn't make it a lag tactic.

Thats like saying ivy WP 1B is legit because it is linear and does good SG dmg

Cass FC 1B is still a lag tactic even though its linear
 
Ivy WP 1B comparison? Hmmm.......yeah I guess that's true. Can anyone actually test on it? The games I played offline I use it infrequently at best and in the same setups/combos(Those strings that are gauranteed?!??!?!o_O) works alot, getting stepped sometimes ofcourse. Just like it does online.

If I get ALOT of the same opinions from players that I shouldn't use the move in those setups(lag tactic?) then I'll drop it.

Neji is garbage huh? Strange, I thought he was a pretty decent player (but who's a pro? Oh yeah, Bubbles....-_-) but who am I to talk bubbles, I'm garbage too right? ^_^

From here on out bubbles, I'm agreeing with a few other people around here and not taking you seriously anymore. I don't give a shit that we're both Raphael players.

keep ignoring my advice on what works offline (funny lon grange said the same thing before he went to Chi regionals)

see how far that 2A+B or prep spam gets you offline

I think your a cool guy but I hate playing you because of your abuse of obvious online tactics
