i see i found a button to press. i think you been hanging around Shadow too long cause you seem to be taking on a bit of an arrogant attitude. and for you to get heated up because you lost is dumb. that only makes me hope you lose future matches because you are too accustomed to winning in SoCal cause no one practices as much as you do. so basically i'm saying you need to calm down.

i don't deny that he's overall better than me. but to say i'm not getting any better is kinda insulting. everyone gives compliments to each other but i don't hear that from hajin. and everyone says that he's too gloomy and serious when playing. i understand being competitive and all but have fun while playing too for crying out loud.

There is arrogance, then there is truth. I'm far from being an arrogant player and people know that. This is what's pisses me off with you, especially because YOU FUCKIN' KNOW ME. How the hell can I be arrogant when I am always more concerned about my play and trying to become more consistent? Becoming a better, more consistent player is what I want to be. Not some cocky guy whose only concerned about winning. I am always going to be quiet and focused as I play, that's how I am. Because I'm trying to focus on what I do correctly, what my faults are, and what I need to do to correct them.

Sorry I refuse to play tag in DOA, that's not for me.

You cannot boast about beating a player that literally eliminated you in the same tournament, like that's actually an accomplishment. Had you defeated me AND eliminated me, I can see that and would mean quite a bit. But that's not the case.

You need to stop going around these forums and facebook in those lame ass DOA groups and stop acting like you're high level in DOA (multiple people have witnessed this behavior on facebook and THAT'S some arrogant shit). When you're no where near high level. As a matter of fact, no one in California is a high level player "yet". AFD Requiem, CrazySteady and myself are probably the closest and that's just based on what a lot of other better players are speculating out of the Cali scene.

Yeah, I play DOA for fun, but I'm also competitive, so I have goals along the way and I intend to see them through.

And no, you haven't really improved as much as the others in SoCal. You have the exact same habits as you had in DOA5 vanilla (excessive attack from disadvantage, attempts to mash out of your own unsafety, as if you're playin' online, excessive low holds out of stun, you constantly attempt to mash out of frame advantage, you attempt to side step "tracking" and even attempt to side step out of disadvantage, etc).

I can critique everyone else in SoCal, they listen and they study, and they would improve. I critique you, what I mention just goes in one ear and out the other. I can hit you with Ayane's KK > 4P+K stun set up for free in every single round and match, and YOU NEVER HOLD THE 4P+K, ever. Everyone has held this set up at least a few times. I've even told you to hold mid punch after KK, and you're still high holding.

Why are you holding high if I never launch you with a high? Any other instance, it's constant low holds. You don't adapt to anything, you just guess and then you just do your usual because you think it works well. I haven't seen new mix ups or new set ups out of your characters at all since the start off DOA5U.

I've tried to give you suggestions on stuff, and I've even told you some things to punish vs Ayane. You never listen to me. Maybe you think I'm tryin' to talk down to you when I do? Why would I? What reason would I have to do that? You're my friend, but these last few posts of yours doesn't sound like it.

I've entrusted you, Commanda Panda and the others with the heart of the SoCal scene while I'm away. I EXPECT YOU TO FUCKING GET BETTER AND PROVE TO ME AND OTHERS THAT YOU'RE A SOLID PLAYER.

dude. get off your high horse. i've never said i was a high level player here or anywhere else. so i don't know where you heard that from. i'm a good player regardless of what you think. and yeah you think i do random shit whenever i beat you. you even go to insulting me when you lose like i have no clue what i'm doing. that's one reason why i don't like facing you. i'm fine with losing. but if i win i expect the person i'm facing to at least take their loss like a man. not down play their opponent to make their lose acceptable. and you've hardly given advice unless i blatantly ask it about the game or certain moves. and i don't know how it doesn't sound like i'm your friend when you fired shots at me in a thread. not even in PMs at least. so i say something back and you're the victim? i don't get that. this convo obviously doesn't need to be cluttering this thread anymore since its off topic and getting the wrong type of attention so i'd suggest if you have anything else to say to me then take it to the PMs. but word of advice; re-read your post before you post them so you can see how they come off as condescending.

Side note: I have been practicing DOA and I hope to one day get good enough to enter tournaments xD.

Hey Toronto is awesome. Just wish the Toronto SC scene was also "awesome". I still play weekly, but the only person I've seen is B4K4 from this site for SCII or SCV (Beastly Alpha!). Everyone else plays DOA5U with me. Come down here dude and put the TO Scene in its place! ;)
 
I always assumed Vincent and the Hajin were big m8s purely because they both seem to be massive cunts.


Not like I've ever communicated with Hajin but you don't go and write a massive essay about how great you are without having a few eyebrows raised.

hey, i'm only a douche when i have a headache or am bothered too much. but i'm a really nice guy. i haven't had any beef with anyone that i've met irl from this site or any other community website. but conflict comes up every now and again. all you can do is either accept it or ignore it. (well, the best options anyway). i don't let what people say bother me and neither should anyone else. if you think you're good then hopefully there's a reason why. 7 out of 10 times there is proof and it's not just smack talk. people tell me i'm not good (jokingly, most of the time) and i know i'm not the best but i am better than most since i only lose to a handful of people. and i know i'm getting better because i notice those people are getting better too. if i wasn't getting any better than logically i'd get passed and the people that were losing to me would start consistently winning. and i don't get a mentor or anything. there's someone else that mains Kokoro so at least we can give each other advice on that character but for Tina, Pai, Momiji, and Mila i have to look online for any help.

but i would never tell anyone they aren't getting better. That would only discourage them and to me seems like a low blow. especially, if that person is actively trying to get better. why do people find it so easy to tear people down but find it uncomfortable to encourage others?

excuse me sir but that is a lie. you didn't state anything about RE games selling better than the other. you were saying that they were better in terms of gameplay and atmosphere. i got on you (as well as others) because you were bashing the survival horror genre.

and you have no clue what the conversation was even about between me and hajin and i can tell because of how you replied. if you don't know what's going on then don't reply just to try and bash on someone. and i hear that you cause issues in a LOT of threads. don't start one here too please and thank you.

For the record, I've always been helping out other players (forums, in person, online recently on PSN, XBL soon as well). You've witnessed me doing this in casuals and at Super Arcade often.

Anyway, yeah, I didn't mean to come at you the way I did before, had a lot on my mind that made me frustrated and I took it out on you. Sorry for that, you're my boi and it won't happen again. If you don't believe me, well then I'm going to smash your glasses at SCR.
