Most Esteemed One-Shot Contest Thread.

I want to vote spider camel warrior too, that's something that reminds me of Dune. second to tusken raider that's another good custom

Great creations, overall. My vote goes to @LazyGarou's powersuit. Subtle cable-like pattern on undershirt. Pocket sticker extension to breastplate. Sticker-made codpiece. Lovin' the MegaMan look.

My vote goes to Quinion for the reasons already mentioned.
Close second comes Brucege for an outstanding head build (dat antennas :)

Here's the new contest: Military. Make an army person. Can be any country, any role, from any time period. Think of the different types of uniform or combat gear they use. I would add that there is always an appeal for some to make historically bad guys like Nazis, but it shouldn't be anyone in the present day that is doing terrible things. (ISIS, Boko Haram, RFL, etc).

I did a couple of ones back then, let me reshare :

Very cool. I like the camouflage pattern on the sphere that meshes with the turtle shell to create a great looking helmet from afar, and how you put the "underhelmet" using the "hat" slot.Very good color scheme as well, and good usage of camo pattern and dirty stickers overall :) of course, the backpack adds to the flair, as does the axe somehow (sapper).
I like how you avoided the obvious boots for the footwear and did that excellent combiantion of camo socks using the ninja pants and added the shoes that blend nicely and make it look different and real.

What kinda puzzle me though is your choice of face preset, maybe you wanted to portray the young innocent cannon fodder who isn't gonna last more than a couple of hours on the battlefield...I would have picked a more war veteran looking face preset, and added face details like grime / dirt / scars / blood dripping down from the top of the forehead below the helmet...
Like this it looks like a soldier out of a japanime, which is fine if it was your art direction, but the face kinda distracts from the otherwise perfectly coherent CAS design. The glasses, i don't know, maybe a gas mask lol (but this has been done brilliantly by Chobek back then on their WWI trench solider)

Thanks Vilarcane. I went with that face and glasses because most soldiers back then were drafted, so most were young, average looking people. Looking at it now it does kind of stand out, though. Maybe if I have time I'll try one of the face paints or something.
