Hi, I need some practice w/ Nightmare and since I have XBL I might as well use it. Gamertag is A Savage Panda. Please send me a PM or message on LIVE for some matches.
Need some practice to gauge my skill.
So...I want to use a pad to play...but unfortunately I play on the 360. The Fightpad for SF4 isn't very good for this, because the button mapping is a bit awkward. So!
Should I convert a 360 controller?
Should I get a PS3 controller and converter?
Or should I just get a stick and be done with?
Anyone hear anything 'bout the STIV d-pad controllers that they're coming out with? I'm quite tempted to get one...I'm totally inept at Street Fighter if I can't play with a pad...but I don't want to waste $40 on a pad that sucks as much as the default 360's pad.
Thoughts?
What's better: the control pad or the control stick? Seeing as I'm totally inept with an arcade stick...
I would like to try out using pad, but the 360's pad is so horrible.
On the other hand, I'm really not that good at the pad, probably because I haven't really practiced using it...
Quick question: Is there some kind of way of timing a JF? Because right now all I'm doing is just practicing the same move over and over, and that's not working out very well.
For one reason or another, I seem to have an absolutely horrible time when fighting good Astaroth players. I can never seem to get spacing just right, and they just toss me around all over the place. Drives me crazy.
Advice?
Hi, I'm new to 8wr, and I'm relatively new to the scene of serious SCIV (Is there a technical term for non-casual play other than professional?)
Anyways, I've been wondering...is there a thread about throw breaking? Either I'm searching in the wrong places or I'm just blind. xD
If there...
