I really wanna convince my parents to upgrade their wireless router from the old 802.11b we've had for years. It was fine at first but with the main computer, two laptops, my mom's tablet, multiple cell phones, and my xbox the connection can tend to drag. I've been trying to look into the newer 802.11n models but everything I'm reading is mixed. Some say that they are great and offer wonderful connections while others complain that they cause too much interference and performance suffers when there are other wireless networks nearby. It also doesn't help that a lot of the articles I've found are from 2 or 3 years ago and the info is a bit out of date by now. Anyone know if these things are worth trying out or where I can get some solid up to date info on them?
