Ancient Winds CAS

Thread was built to focus on a fictional story of mine: Ancient Winds. It may get updated from time to time. All I'm doing is making sure I make Alfonso for instance look like the character he's supposed to be. Other original CAS I leave in Messing in fashion thread.

Long rough draft story
The story is set in an alternative timeline in Earth 73. Despite technology not as polished, the earth thrives on magic force. It's also a world overrun by lawlessness and chaos because of the nefarious Horus and the many minions he has. Despite this, a country called Feather Belle is the only last hope of Earth 73. In this country, there is freedom, peace, order, and it's a chosen nation blessed by the Ancient One. This nation harbors the best kind of warriors, but one man stuck out more than the rest. His name is Hardy Griffin and he is the king of Feather Belle. He's the one who foiled Horus' plans time after time.

Seeing that Horus grows increasingly more devious and relentless, Hardy forms an elite group he calls Birds of Prey. In this group, these faith based warriors devote themselves to the Ancient One and serving others like superheroes. Their duty is to keep the world in balance under the Ancient One's guidance. Thus, their jobs would be daunting and thankless as kings.

Hardy's code name became Phoenix. A fitting nickname as Hardy was the underdog who turned the table with his wits and guts over the superior tyrant Horus. Joining his crusade is his little brother Stephan Griffin aka Eagle, his long time friends Liang Chen aka Owl and Juan Cruz aka Falcon. For a time, the Birds of Prey became feared and respected for their benevolent cause to stop evil. Their sheer tenacity even reduced corruption so much that some countries aligned in favor to them. At long last, evil now trembles at Feather Belle's best warriors Birds of Prey.....or one would hope evil would stay that way.

Horus on the other hand wasn't fazed one bit. He knew his time to reign was near. He only allowed some losses only to get intel of how he may best Phoenix and his comrades. After careful planning, he launched a surprise invasion to Feather Belle. Unbeknownst to this, Phoenix, Owl, and Falcon were away forming new alliances with other people. The only one able to respond to the surprise invasion was Phoenix's little brother Eagle. Despite Eagle's best efforts to drive away the invasion, he would soon be overwhelmed by Horus and his shockingly new powers that toppled Eagle and defeated him.

Horus then took reign of Feather Belle. Later on, word got to Phoenix that his homeland is captured by Horus and Eagle was defeated. Enraged, he called up his friends Owl and Falcon to put a stop to Horus. After a few weeks of travelling back to Feather Belle, the Birds of Prey faced off Horus once again. However, Horus easily dominated the 3 brave warriors for a time that they had to retreat to find out how to best Horus. Sadly, the country Feather Belle was reduced to an anarchist playground thanks to Horus' reign.

The Birds of Prey grew desperate. It was either do or die. Falcon was able to put up a fight against Horus, but he was ultimately defeated. Owl and Phoenix teamed up to take on Horus, but neither of them could put a dent. Fearing that there is no way they can take back Feather Belle, they had to flee the country they loved and take with them a handful of citizens to build anew elsewhere.

Feather Belle has now been renamed Heather's Hell. To make mockery of the heroine Heather who sacrificed herself to stop Horus. Horus has finally succeeded in defeating those meddling Birds of Prey. Little did he know however, Phoenix, Owl, and the remnants of Feather Belle fled to the dreadful Rocks of Wild. Rocks of Wild was a dangerous mountain range that no brave soul would venture to. It was here a village Belle's Nest was built in honor of the Ancient One. The citizens of Belle's Nest were grateful that the Ancient One kept them safe. The citizens knew that through their heroes King Phoenix and Owl, they would raise new Birds of Prey to overthrow Horus. With faith reignited to fight for tomorrow, the citizens waste no time disciplining new soldiers and helping others.

A few years pass and the village prospers into a mini metropolis. The story now focuses on a young upcoming knight of justice Sander Jaeger and an inquisitive yet overlooked inventor Lance Catcher. Their paths will cross and certain events will be brought to light.

"Placeholder for stuff"

Sander Jaeger's route. His route focuses on the front line. He is tasked by King Phoenix to take down the pirate Alfonso de Garza to acquire the surplus of goods Alfonso stole for Horus. He fights alongside his master Phoenix, other mentor Owl, fellow upcoming warrior and rival Ichiro, his best bud Howard Yi, and others. Sander is versatile to tackle any situation. His tunnel vision can do attitude gets him far, but sometimes he misses the point on more delicate things. It's why his master Phoenix spends more time with him to ensure he doesn't overlook details important to success. Unlike most warriors, Sander is the upcoming hero whose goal is to be the hope for people. However, he needs direction on what to protect.

Lance Catcher's route. His route focuses on what's happening behind the scenes. He teams up with Birds of Prey Stephan Griffin aka Eagle(who was thought to be dead) to figure out what is Horus scheming, the condition of Feather Belle, and perhaps more. Lance is an inventor whose brilliance is as strong as his inquisitive innocence. His lack of confidence and power however compels Eagle to help this young man be more than he is. The only catch is Lance must not reveal to King Phoenix that Eagle is alive under any circumstances. The young man happily obliges for he longs to be more than just an inventor. He desperately wants to be a hero, but he is overlooked due to the fact he's different. Nevertheless, he's an unsung side kick to the unsung hero Eagle.
