These are just some of my CaS creations for the current project/story/video game thing i've been working for about half a year now, uploaded them to deviantart so might as well, since we have 7 DLC packs now it leaves alot to the imagination.

SCV really has been a big inspiration to there designs, when i finally start modeling them with blender i'll know exactly wait to aim for.

Also constructive criticism is well welcomed, as i haven't touched character creation in ages.

I like how Aveira and LuvHands refuses to reveal their weights. It reminds of the Alexander family lol.
And I'm quite fond of Nani (her new nickname since her real name is so long) design. It's simple but classy and cute at the same time.
 
This is a cute idea. :D I kinda feel like, if you're going to go through the trouble of doing so much work on their 'card' that you should crop out the entire character and go full custom. D: It's a lot more work but I'm a bit irked seeing them on the normal background (and the logo+button stuff) with your stuff as the overlay. :c

i like the initial design but i would like to see other angels and zoomed in pics of the characters as well so i can see more details that i can't see from that zoomed at position. also if you have a deviant art give me a link! i didn't know you had one too.

i don't even know if SC5 lets you change the stage in CaS mode like they did in SC4.
 
Wow Leshain! Your characters look great! I really like Leshain and Aveira the most but LuvHands looks quite sexy x//D Haha seriously, you should upload more character if you have any! Keep up the nice work. ^^
 
This are really good, I love how you made thm into biography cards. I would say it would be nice to see some other screen shots just to see the characters fuller
 
Update:

  • General outfit redesigns for LuvHands, Voslon, Leshain.
  • Aveira and Nani are no longer main characters in my project and have been pushed back to side story status, will most likely end up in a flashack comic and not rendered at all. the modeling in my game is taking AGES and i kinda screwed up the process for these characters along with a few others, and don't have the time to remake them any time soon.
  • U.A: Atlantis has been put on hold for now due to the engine strangely stressing out my dual 5770's GPU, so the following characters are NOT related in any way, shape or form to the original characters posted in the OP except a select few main and recurring characters.
  • No Photoshop work this time as they will appear in pairs, im aiming for a more team/partner oriented style this time inspired by my friend whos been obsessed with TTT2 and SFxTekken Tag Team Style, will add effects and custom backrounds later on. much later on, maybe, probably... not.
  • Last but not least, tips, hints and general criticism is welcomed, i had to make these characters pretty quickly because my buddy wanted his PS3 back so if there any additions that you guys think will make them look sharper, feedback is highly needed and wanted as i will be modeling/rendering most (if not all) characters in this post through blender and a custom game engine. Also borrowing Pocky-Yoshi's style of bio/profiling for now until i have time to make it like the first five.

Gist: New comers who attend Unite Academy, a place for young people with gifted powers who can learn basic education along with special education concentrating on there natural powers. Alec is the high energy type but has a habit of easily giving into depression while his official partner Flora is the high spirited type but isn't nearly enduring and powerful as Alec, the two complement each other greatly in battle.

Gist: Kai a tanned skinned man with blonde hair and crimson eyes awakens in a strange uniform on a otherworldly beach with three moons in the sky, and several planets floating high up in space can be seen. However he throws all fears, doubts and questions aside and embraces his new life when he comes upon a treasure filled with gold coins, for some reason it is the only thing he recalls prior to his amnesia, and knew right away that it was valuable, but before he could get away with the treasure, a woman in a yellow-ish dress with gold coins as ornaments (the very same thats within the treasure chest) appeared, and she appeared very PO'd. during the chase that ensued for what felt like days, ended up on a high cliff, when she lunged at him she instead hit the treasure, and thus it fell off the cliff instead of her target.

She then knocked him out and dragged him away to her village and threw him in there jail. a few days later, before his sentence was about to be given for his "Friendly Crimes" as he claims... there village became under attack, the woman and many other local warriors fought valiantly but was eventually overwhelmed, before the finishing blow was dealt to the woman, Kai instead of fleeing when a blast to the jail broke a hole through the wall, fought with the remaining local warriors when he saw that the elderly and children were about to be struck down by the invaders, this angered Kai for reasons he could not explain at the time but instead reacted and picked up the nearest weapon and began assaulting the invaders, he did not know he could fight this well, he was pulling off moves almost as if he was some sort of deity. in the end he saved the day, repenting for what he had done the village chief "partially" forgave him and was curious as to why they were attacked and by who? to find out he sent his grand daughter Hikina to find out, to sail to the mainland on one condition... with Kai as her escort.

Relationships: Aside from Clients... Unknown. / All-Female Space Pirate Crew Aquaria, Xeph, Elena, Voslon, Leshain, Her new partner like of course duhhh.
Gist: Lexi Tasoestr a Female Space Pirate went rouge one day during a rebellious phase involving... plushie toys and boys (or lack there of on there ship) and with her monstrous strength she ending banging up the ship... pretty badly, so bad in fact they crash landed on to an uncharted planet, knowing she would get punished and get an earful of there captains second-in-command she fled the ship along with a hover cruiser. however unknown to her she could run but could not hide, the choker bell around her neck giving to her by the captain isn't just for looks, it's actually a tracking device. the hunt begins.

Mean while... While finishing up a job, a man cloaked in Red and Black is doing battle with a Shaman Earth Giant... with otherwordly powers he fires off a sphere of Dark Red energy stunning the creature only to finish it off with a shot to the head with both of his gun blades. he collects the spoils and mounts his black horse, which sprouts wings from it's back, as he flies off he realizes he forgot to secure himself... and sure enough a strange machine comes flying at him with lightning speed, the two collide landing in a unknown forest.

Update:

Theme songs i made for some of my original characters through fruity loops 10 (demo), 90% original content with some borrowed sound effects from a friend.

Music itself has personality i would like to believe, so hopefully these characters personalities are expressed through there each unique song.

Also bonus points to anyone who can guess which theme songs have my vocals. :p





 
The following are the main bad guys' so to speak of my current project, the first one (dude in black) is the main antagonist and the other (blue chick) is the supportive antagonist.



Somethin' extra, my in-game uh 'me'? theme music remixed for Guild Wars 2. (A highly anticipated MMORPG for PC) shouts to Ian for helping know more about this amazing game. :D
