Hey everyone, it's that time of year again.
Magfest 2009!
For those who aren't familiar with it, MAGfest is THE video game convention. Take Otacon's game room as a start, and expand that to cover 100% of the convention and you may have an idea of Magfest is like.

Last year broke 1000 players attending the event.
As far as 8WR users want to hear:
24 hour casual gaming, tons of tournaments, and video game concerts.
I personally will be running some of the fighting game tournaments, so everything should run fairly smoothly.
There is bound to be several permanent SC4 setups as well as tourneys for both systems.
There are instances of certain sponsors offering prizes for tournaments in certain games, but that is yet to be determined.
Things that I am working on to get off the ground for this event:
Anywho, my room is already booked for all 4 nights, even though I live 30 minutes away. That's because the 24 hour game room is the BEST PART!
Post up here to ask questions, discuss, arrange travel/rooms, and to state whether you're going or not.
Pre reg now for 40$ for the weekend. It's 45$ at the door, or 15$ per day pass!
