[Nov 18, 2011] SCV Tokyo Game Night (TGN) in Akihabara, Japan (東京都)

Usually oosaka and Sousuhi are on the staff but this time other people are runnin the show.

Usually TGNs are in Asagaya but this one is in Aki (good for me cause it's closer).

This will be a SCV only event.
Guess we'll get to play the new demo (different than the TGS version) the whole time.
They will have 8 game machines set up.

They have many things planned (exhibitions of good playas, a talk show, a singles comp, etc) in two 7 hour blocks (12PM- 7PM, 9PM-4AM). Probably people from Namco will be there too.

3,000 Yen to go to both (uni students get a discount, HS students and down free).

woot 9-10 more days before this begins. won't be there obviously but maybe we will get to see some new stuff....there is another even on the 3rd in Europe so perhaps we will see stuff revealed at both events. I can hope.

And I saw the rules/common Qs & As on the TGN HP- I think they say if you record (take pics/vids) you can be thrown out.

Also heard about Calrk HS- it's a special HS for IT.
Many of it's students are famous voice actors.

I'm sure the students there are anime/game fans. It'll be interesting to see how many students come.

So just because I'm an idiot and don't know exactly how this works, if it's 12p.m. on Nov 19th in Japan that would make it 7p.m.(?) Nov 18th in Seattle? Could someone help me verify this?

Tokyo is 17 hours ahead of Seattle.

So yes- 12 noon in Tokyo (19th) would be 7 PM in Seattle (18th):

People do have to realize though that just because characters may get announced they may not be able to be revealed until later in the week or month.

Easy way to remember the time difference math:

Add 5 hours.
Then either change the AM/PM or add 12 more hours.
