SCV DLC Guest Character: Ermac!

First, you take the first opportunity you get to play the victim card, saying "you called me this n that". Then you act like you suddenly make sense. "Thank you", no, you're still illogical kid. Ermac's axe an excuse? What? It is not an excuse in any way, that is really stupid. There's several characters that don't have weapons in MK9. Most characters in MK stand out for their powers, not their weapons. So that doesn't go against Ermac. And that still doesn't mean he couldn't be in SCV primarily using his axe. And Kitana may be more weapon-oriented, but she's a boring choice. Who would want her? No. The point of the idea of an MK character is to have a power-possessing character. They'd use their weapon primarily but would use their powers in a special stance. Regardless if it's Ermac or franchise characters Scorpion and Sub Zero.

I do likes my Mortal Kombat. I mean hell, my CAS characters are pretty much MK characters. But the trouble with them melding with any game (Be it DLC or full blown crossover) would be trying to get some of the blood lust fuelled fanboys/gals to calm down and accept that there is a lack of blood/fatalities.

Also Ermac? Really? I mean Scorpion could do some cool things with the Kunai on rope. Sub Zero could fashion Ice weapons on the fly (Kinda like Ezio or Algol). Shao Kahn with the War Hammer. Kitana with her fans would be pretty. Mileena with her sais would be interesting. Kabal even (Hook blades). Raiden has a staff. Jade has that extendable pole. And finally Kung Lao has his hat.

In short no. I would pay for Ermac but I'd be secretly hoping for someone else. Actually it wouldn't be a secret. I'd be spamming Dashi and Ed Boon until they blocked me.

That's not my point. There's several other character choices that would be much better, even from MK. I think that if there's ever any DLC characters in the future, I hope they are actual SC characters (Zasalamel and Talim anyone?).

I forgot how pathetically oversized Taki's rack was. And that her outfit apparently keeps the air around her body at 58˚ Fahrenheit.

If there were actually guest characters I'd prefer a series with that lend actual importance to their weapons. People with Noble Phantasms like Excalibur, Arondight, Gae Bolg etc. to compete with Soul Edge or something.

They already have a broken 3D Fighting game that would need to be tweaked for SC anyways....

I think that there should be a DLC expansion with a story centering around Raphael's search for Amy. At the end Amy regains her memory and gets a new sword with orb playstyle.
